Ireland men's rugby sevens have made it through 3 competitions to qualify for the Olympic repêchage competition. Fair play, getting through the final European stage was no certainty as a fair few of the world sevens series teams were playing.
The cricketers qualified for the t20 world cup too. Despite losing 2 games in the group stage.
