Must have been some Islamic festival on in St Annes Park today. Rather bizarre to see as I cycled through with 8 y/o daughter - lots of women in abayas and niqabs, plus all the men praying facing Mecca. Kids all being kids in the normal way as you would expect.
I don't know, find myself being swayed more and more by the French attitude to secularism in public places.
tldr; I is possible racist."We are not Europeans. Those people on the continent are freaks."

Tech Help needed!
Since Tony has been having problems with his laptop dropping the internet and trying to ascertain if it is the laptop or the eircom xyzel fibre modem causing the problem we bought a Netgear D6200 wifi modem router the other day.
I followed the instructions and the green twisted cable sign flashes all the time and wont go solid. Obviously the line is grand as we have efibre but with the box on the wall we can't use the filter that comes as the eircom box has the splitter built in.
I get the message
"No DSL cable is plugged into the router ADSL port"
It is the AC1200 Dual band we were told to get for Eircom E-fibre
The spoiler is the netgear instruction...
Thanks in advance
SPOILERVerify that the filter is properly connected. Note that phones should be connected in the socket labeled "phone" in the filter while your NETGEAR gateway/router should be connected to the one labeled "ADSL".
If there are many phones or fax machines in your house, make sure they are all going through filters similarly.
Make sure that the phone cable coming from the socket labelled "ADSL" in the filter is plugged to the respective grey port in the NETGEAR gateway/router. The yellow ports should be used exclusively for local wired devices like PCs or printers.
You can verify that the line is synchronizing by looking at the "twisted cable" line LED in the front display. It will blink green while trying to synchronize and remain solid green once synchronization is complete.
The "globe" internet LED will remain red until you finish setup. Once the line LED is solid green and the internet LED is solid red you should be able to continue the Genie Wizard setup.

A rather small pic of it.
Best of luck with it all, seems equally exciting and terrifying .

My love for Dublin Bus drivers grew immensely this weekend. The lady driver that brought us back from Slane dropped us off right outside the skylon instead of bringing us to O Connell street wbich was the only scheduled stop! Absolute legend that lady. We were destroyed in mud and soaked to the skin so we were utterly grateful.
Also, had good banter with mdoug's m8 on the bus. Him and my gf got into a bit of slagging about driving. He admits that he doesn't drive and was terrible when he tried. She says at least you're man enough to admit it. Bit of a pause then for about 3 seconds and he says but I'm still better than you. Boom! Great stuff.

Anybody watch the BBC show The Trip with Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan? Just finished the first series there. Genuine lols abound. Probably late to the party but I tend not to watch TV except for sport.

SPOILER
I thought maybe it was the wire so I used the one from our current efibre and tried that with the same error.

I have only ever communicated about bank deets by pm however I would on occasion have forgotten my password and had a new one for IPB sent to my gmail. The most recent time being last week. I am a little bit worried now.
I have deleted any old pms that had bank details.
He did suggest if I used the same password or similar passwords for any other websites to change them immediately.

Was at bloom yesterday. every single fucking thing is marketed as gluten free, I was nearly asking for gluten free water. Things that couldn't possibly have gluten being marketed as gluten free, fuck off. Grand aul day though.
I think I need to start askign do people ahve anything with gluten in it, or anything GMO.

What did you think of the declaration, I'd have given the tail another 20 minutes to get it to 480 territory.
