Just for information's sake, how did you make money from this? Did you get paid from the 50% of withheld prize pool?

Also what charity was this for and what % of the 50% withheld fund actually went to them?

To be helpful, the thread is borderline fine as you've filled out most of the charter, however the game itself is fairly terrible.

(Roughly) 50% of the money taken going into the prize fund is unacceptable, the figure should be a completely transparent 100%. Where you make your money is via a reg fee so you might have a €5 or €10 reg fee on a €30 game.
It would be called a €30+€5 or a €30+€10 game. Most people here would consider an acceptable maximum reg fee to be 25%, whereas you effectively have a 100% reg, its a €15 + €15 game. Paying 100% reg for a self dealt game is unacceptable.

I don't know the golf scene too well, but imagine if people who organised Sunday morning tournaments organised a really bad tournament - more expensive than the norm and failed to tell you whether it was stroke play or stableford, 9hole or 18hole, were a bit cagey about what the prizes were, hinted vaguely at a charity element etc. Thats kinda what you've done here.

                    HTH.
