Hi all. Going to LV for 3 nights in from sep 16 to 19 inclusive, thurs, fri, sat. Normally take the poker rate at the aria but they are booked out. Have checked all the poker rates at other top end properties and they are not great tbh. Anyone know anyone that I could contact and get a half decent rate? Thx.

I got a list from a friend that has a certain budget. I am guiding him towards The Monte Carlo or NYNY.

I might just send him to the MC so as I have first hand experience.Pm for rakeback deals

First timers in Vegas should probably stay on strip. Just looked at the GC there and it is €305 on the weekend days that they are there. I got a suite in the MC for 4 nights last July.
There seems to be some weird event on the weekendthey are going that is attracting 100k people to Vegas. That may explain that.Pm for rakeback deals

NYNY rooms and hotel is far better than Monte Carlo. I would put Bally's and Harrahs above it too.sigpic

I usually book my hotel in LV via booking.com early in the year whenever I see something I like, then I decide later whether I am going to stay in that hotel or not (free cancellation on booking.com) and flights via skyscanner.com.
This year I temporarily booked a room in the MGM and one in the Aria, then I ended up booking the whole package via ebookers (flight+hotel) and I am staying at the Mirage (location is way too important), they have very good offers when you buy flight+hotel together and save a few hundreds €€€ easily."Poker isn’t about default strategies, it’s about exploiting your opponent's bad tendencies"

Dead centre of the strip with access to the Monorail and bus stops just outside the door.

The Gold Coast is handy only if you play a lot at the Rio, wsop, etc, but from Bally's you have free shuttle to the Rio every 30 minutes (return) during the wsop anyway, plus when you are not playing you are right in the centre of the strip, rooms are pretty spacious too."Poker isn’t about default strategies, it’s about exploiting your opponent's bad tendencies"

Bill's Gambling Hall used to be a popular spot with people here, good strip location and reasonable prices. Tom stayed there iirc.X can be anything, any number, that is what’s CRAZY about X.
