hello..
quick question a mate of mine is playing poker online on a laptop with no internet security, should he not be worried about cheating,bots, etc?? He says it makes no difference coz the sites security is good enough!!

Any advise???

Cheating/Bots and stuff like that can't happen locally on his computer, it happens on the poker sites servers. Nothing anyone can do to prevent bots except the sites themselves.

What could happen if he got a virus is his email might get hacked and someone could gain access to his poker account. This is pretty unlikely but it's still recommended to run a scan now and again. Malwarebytes anti-malware is a great tool and it's free.

If he has alot of money online it would be foolish not to do regular virus scans
