APP FOR CASH GAMES GOING DUBLIN

hey i was just thinking of doing a mobile app for casinos current cash action in dublin and basically an ' honest ' assessment of the current cash action at tables/clubs etc. Obviously most clubs publish a tournament schedule but to determine cash action without visiting is always difficult. Some do update a facebook status to say ' 3 tables open good cash games going till late etc' but this is misinformed in most cases.

I will need people mainly and casino themselves to update the app as obviously i cannot and wont be in the said casino whenever. I just think it would be a useful tool. I dont need at this moment in time to explain the ins and outs but basically idea is simple its more uptodate and tells number of players/tables/etc. Obviously this info could be expanded to explain how deep the game is etc but thats up to the uploader.

This app wont work if it is shills using it with misinformation and id probably blacklist them if hear its true. Im basically posting interest to see interest as i said will be free but it is the user that will help it work. Not expecting people to tell the world there is a fish with money to burn on seat 3 etc.

thoughts? the app itself would be simple and free but as i said would people be willing to put up the info needed wont work otherwise.

ps. also open to clubs outside dublin just more people interested.

Good idea, I've often been in bed unable to sleep and wondered what the games were like in town. I used to live in Sandyford so a cab at 2am into the city, although more expensive was better value than a cab to a game in Tallaght.

Check out the Bravo App. Every major poker room in the US is on it. Great when you're in Vegas, AC or wherever. I remember showing it to JP one night and he liked it.

The challenge is getting the data up there.

Bravo have an automated feed from the card room management system which is why it works so well.

If you are relying on operators to upload data at regular intervals I can't see it working and it is defo open to abuse. Just my tuppence.
