looks good airight scarlets + 9 alright, dont think it will be high scoring game as well, also fancy the 2nd half highest scoring half with plenty of hard tackles going in early,as with scarletts yellow card with the munster full house crowd taking effect might be worth a look
brag....Mattie McGrath wanna-be

leinster v ulster,...this looks like a total mis-match with the line ups,the leinster - 26 big nuff but when you analyse it a little the -26 is well beatable imo and has to be backed, leinster - 26@ about evenish
munster v connacht....a fairly decent connacht team out for this one v a 2nd string munster team, its the bull hayes last game for munster and he starts, imo the hcp of connacht +12 looks puntable, but the one i'm going for in this one is highest scoring half,2nd half @ 4/5
also like a fine young man(as gab was saying)in the first in limerick, heard a little about this one!Mattie McGrath wanna-be

treviso v aironi play their return match on sat 31 at 15.00,aironi won last weeks game with a scoreline of Aironi 27 - 13 Treviso, when treviso were favs to win the game, they will be out to get revenge over their local rivals and will try and get at them early,no prices up as yet but when you look at the past scores, treviso have scored 144 first half points(with 93 2nd half points)aironi have scored 90 first half points(with 78 2nd half points)the highest scoring half is the one i'll be playing with the first half hopefully in or around evens maybe 11/10 when the markets are priced up.all based on research and statistics, but i think there's worse ways at looking at a betting market!

weather dependent. Always hard to go out West and carve them out.
It's always one of the games that Connacht put most into.
avoid imo (though at same time, HC should be 7)
oh, by the way, though I see it's not priced yet. The HT/FT Connacht/Leinster flip flop is always overpriced in these games.
Connacht don't have the holding power to retain a 3/5 point lead at the end of the first half.Last edited by Emmet; 30-12-11, 14:17.

connacht have targeted this match to stop the rot,not too sure they'll be able to,ingame or betting in running perhaps.took a little of two yellow cards @ 3/1 on the munster/ulster,also a tiny tipple on the red card munster @ 40/1.(pp)just fun bets for a tenner each, also got the treviso v aironi first half highest scoring @ 11/10,see if the research pays off!Mattie McGrath wanna-be

Connacht/Leinster HT/FT at 6/1 is my sneaky bet of the weekend...
Reckon the game flip flops far more often in these tense games than those odds suggest. Connacht can compete for 40 mins against most teams, and reckon that they could take a 3/5 point lead into the start of the second half.
Leinster's squad and intensity to pull away in the last 20 though...

If Connacht had've had a consistent kicker on the pitch this was a shoe in imo.
Happy enough to take that shot at 6/1 any day of the week tbh.

just had a look at the stats, take out visser(on ten trys)there's not a whole pile else tbh, laidlaw is kicking well, but ulster are just 5 on the yellow card list(3rd best in the pro 12)and dont tend to give away a lot of penaltys
ulster +3worth a punt
also going for a small bet on no yellow card @5/2(hills),
number of reasons for this, mainly clancys record in the last 12 games in this comp is fairly good when it comes to keeping all the players on the pitch, tho edinburgh are not the best with the yellow cards, but i think clancy has the experience to keep the game ticking along.think its a 50/50 shot for the sin bin, purely based on past statistics over the past year or so,at 5/2 worth a shot...i think!
also went for the first scoring play, ulster try @ 7/1 laddies,
might have a look at the total points market as well, dont think it will be a high scoring game, feck better go to bed before i end up doing me conkers
edit:line is drawn at 37ish points, might just leave it,going for the time of first try, cant find a market for this as yet but if its anywhere around 26,then the overs for a decent bet!Last edited by amberleaf; 06-01-12, 09:37.Mattie McGrath wanna-be

Strong Leinster side alright, no imports. VC 1st market up, they calling it as a coinflip (10/11 v 10/11 @ 0) and I think they're about right, no bet for me!

treviso have a decent record in ireland this year, scalping connacht and ulster on the way.too many ifs or buts to look at the handicap(gone to - 15 now).its 3/10 for a sin bin, think there will be at least one,but no point backing at that price.the first scoring play, munster penalty worth a little pop with the munster crowd and rog back,@7/4,also gone for the highest scoring half,2nd half @ 10/11 for a number of reasons.think treviso will come to tp and try disrupt the pack, stopping any momentun that munster try to build up,keeping the crowd quite, also if this is the case i think there is more of a chance of yellow cards as the game goes on,leading to a better chance of trys, more than likely in the 2nd half!
highest scoring half,2nd half @ 10/11
and a smaller bet on the first scoring play munster penalty@7/4Mattie McGrath wanna-be

in the blues v leinster game gone for a small bet on the flip-flop,blues half time/leinster full time @ 13/2 (twenty euro),the blues tend to trap out early at home, putting the pressure on and getting ahead,if they are ahead at halftime,i dont think it will be by much and this leinster team will have every chance of getting on top of the game in the 2nd half, one things for sure they will not lay down and do a bath on it
blues half time/leinster full time @ 13/2
some nice matchups in this game, might learn a bit with the 6n on the wayMattie McGrath wanna-be

Don't follow Rugby at all, but was looking at prices on Boyles earlier for the bet above and think i missed it. I did remember noticing that Exeter +1 were 10/11 and they're beating Newcastle 10-0 at H/T. Has something gone drastically wrong there or was the price way off in the first place?
