I'm all over forcefull appeal in the 1645 ling . Can't see it being out of first three. Have a look at his last race which was won by today's races fav Purcell and check the sectional times of both for the last 4f.

F.A. Was drawn 9 of 9 and had to drop in before being forced wide for the last 2 bends and then ran up the back of another horse in the straight. Actually ran the last 4f faster than Purcell even though he covered a lot more ground between the furlong markers for each sectional.

It was Purcells seas debut and he is entitled to come on for that but with a 3 lb pull and the plum draw I expect F.A. To beat him today. 15/2 is huge IMO .

Also like Pandar at wolly.

Bit of a stats for cats job about this one,the scottish grand national is on tomorrow in ayr which is ran over 4miles 110yards,apparently over the last 17 years,31 runners that have run in this thing which is a right old slog of a race and that had previously won over 4m1f are showing up as 4 wins & 11 places.
No place market up with the bookmakers as yet,but there's 7/2(ish) on betfair (4 places) which statistically at least,is about a even money shot,just the one runner this year that fits that bill which is last years winner,Godsmejudge,have to take his well-being into trust,but not the worst e/w bet and well worth a poke in the place markets if he's anywhere back to his best given that stamina will play a large part in the outcome.

I have a win/place system I want to automate on Betfair.

The system is based on the betfair win price 1 minute before the start of a horse race. If it meets the odds requirement it should execute a win bet but then I need to also execute a betfair place bet (betfair SP place bet would suffice) as well on the same selection.

Obviously if the win bet doesn't meet the odds requirement, the place bet should not be placed as well.

Does anyone know if there is any software available that can execute these conditions?

That looks attractive though I'd make her a shorter price to place if she does run than I would to actually run... IMOunless they are worried that she'd upstage Quevega he will be tempted to send her over three miles on Thursday.
Depending on the ground the Mares race could cut up to a very small field.

Tempting as the 20/1 ew Jennies Jewel sounds I'll hold off on it until there is a clearer picture of what the ground will be like. She'll be in the 20f handicap on the same day as well and probably more likely to take her chance in that.
