The plan was for Jennies to go straight to France next weekend for the Group 1 Prix du Cadran a 4Km or 2.5 mile Group one race. Its still not being ruled out but she is declared for and an intended runner in the Listed Loughbrown stakes at the Curragh over 2 miles.
Paris on Arc weekend would have been a great trip and there are a load of flights booked but the problem is its looking like the best we can hope for is is a few showers between now and next weekend.

Tomorrows race won't be easy, Forgotten World is a top class performer having his first run of the season, and Bolgers 3 year old is a very exciting staying prospect and looks like it is well suited by the conditions. The last two winners of the race and as well as a couple that are rated ahead of us there are a number of other mares who will be competing hard for the bit of black type on offer and also there is likely to be a few who won't want to let Jennies have her way at the front - this is going to be a tough race to get anything out of. She has been working well, and seems ready to run hopefully she will run her race and come out of it well.

Very disappointing run today its the first time,bar two falls) since Limerick in Dec 12 that she hasn't run her race at all and we have been left scratching our heads.
She was expected to be right on her toes in the parade ring but she seemed quiet in the parade ring. Course vet checked her out and I wouldn't be shocked if we find out tomorrow that she came in season. Quite likely we will have a stab at one of the Cesarawich's in a fortnights time.

Throwing a couple of Euro e.w. on Fossa in the 7:10 Wooly. He is as likely to finish last as be placed but it is a terrible contest .Given his current form and wide draw 50/1 looks about right but there is a lot of early pace in the race which might play in to his drop in style back at his optimum trip / track.

No Eddie is a dog and treats people like shit. They created serious bad blood with the way they treated Sandra Hughes for example. This has been coming for a long time and it is not the first time Willie has asked them to take their horses away, they backed down in the past.

Sandra was under performing, did you expect them to keep them with a struggling trainer just for compassionate reasons? That was a sensible business decision, I can't really see the sense in this one.

Interestingly I heard today (others can refute if they know more) that Eddie rang Mullins last year and told him they would dictate the price they would pay and not the other way around. Mullins, allegedly, told him to bring the horseboxes the next day if that was the case and that Michael had to ring and smooth things out the next day. Maybe they thought Mullins was dogging it after that by increasing prices (which he obv is entitled to do).

Surely value in Mullins now to be top trainer still ??

Went down to see her this morning and she was in great form. We would love there have been enough rain in France to have had a crack at picking up some serious black type today but thats the weather for you.
Weather will dictate where she runs next weekend, the forecasts are pointing to the Curragh at the moment. If there was a straight choice I'd have a slight preference for Newmarket because of the extra 2 furlongs.
