I haven't looked at the algorithms on the bookmaker sites but I'd guess if you are going to be cashing out you'd be burning money compared to using an exchange

Yeah the cash out subtracts significantly from the true value. The vast majority of the time you are burning money. The last horse of the Byrne/Russell treble was being lay by 365 at 4/7 and could be backed at 6/4 on the exchange so that's a rare scenario when the cashout is value.

I could pull a longer one out of my hole about it still being a value price (circa 20% return) but the real answer is Im a mug

I saw dream walker win his last race in galway 7f and it was an amazing last to first run,
