    Macau Irish Poker Classic--30,000 euro GTD--Oct 19th-21st.

    Just a quick post to announce the date for the Irish Poker Classic here in the Macau poker Room.

    It will be held on the weekend of October 19th-21st, with a 30,000 euro GTD prize pool.

    Buy-in for the tournament will be 250 total, (220 + 30).

    Ill be back later to post up full details.


    With day 1A of "The Classic" on this Friday, I'll put up some details here and the full Charter.

    30,000 euro guaranteed. 2-day game. 220+30 buy-in. 35/40 minute clock. 30,000 starting stack.

    Day 1A----Friday October 12th . reg from 5pm. start at 6pm.

    Day 1B----Friday October 19th . Reg from 4pm. Start at 5pm

    Day 1C-Saturday October 20th . Reg from 2pm. Start at 3pm.

    Day 2 starts back at 12.30pm on Sunday, October 21st. Play to a finish.

    6. Registration and Start time of event –
    Day 1A Fri Oct 12th at 6pm (Reg from 5pm)
    Day 1B , Fri Oct 19th starts at 5pm (reg from 4pm)
    Day 1C Saturday Oct 20th. starts at 2.00pm (Reg from 1pm). Day 2 Sunday Oct 21st. Starts 12.30pm.
    7. Any prerequisites (member of club, society etc) – Members, join on night, ID required.
    8. How can tickets be purchased & is there a maximum number (in advance, at the door etc) – On the day at the event
    9. Type of Tournament (Hold'em/Omaha etc Freezeout/Rebuy etc) – Hold Em,
    10. Cost of entry - €220+30
    11. How much of the entry fee is made up of registration fee - €30
    12. If a rebuy, cost of rebuys/top-up – One re-entry available per Day 1
    13. How many and what duration are re-entries available – 8 levels
    14. % of entry fee/rebuys/top-up going into prize fund – 100%
    15. How many places being paid – Approx 10% of the field
    16. Is any money from the prize fund held back for future tournaments, if so, how much - No
    17. Any tickets for future events given out as prizes. If so, how many – No
    18. Any additional prizes given out (merchandise etc) - No
    19. Starting chips – 30,000 - Full stacks on arrival up to end of level 8
    20. Rebuy and top-up chip amounts – N/a
    21. Blind levels – 50/100, 75/150, 100/200, etc all the levels. Button antes in play.
    22. Blind timeframes – 35 mins day 1.----- 40 mins day 2.----- 20 mins heads up.
    23. Are there going to be dealers and their level of skill – Yes, professional
    24. Will there be a documented list of rules - Yes TDA
    25. Is there a tournament director - Yes
    26. How are disputes handled ; who has final say – Tournament Director.
    27. Are there any cash games offered, if so, please outline the rake for each limit offered – 5%, capped at €8

            The final day 1 (1C) starts today, Saturday at 3pm.
            Late reg up until end of level 8 (approx 8.30pm)
            12 x 35 minute blinds to be played. Play will finish on day 1C at approx 11pm.

            Day 2 starts back on Sunday at 12.30pm. 40 minute blind clock.


              47 players took to the felt for day 1C. 9 players survived.

              So total entries were 142 with a prizepool of 31,240 euro.
