There used to be a reward challenge and an immunity. Now it's just 10 mins of edge of extinction garbage, 10 mins of everyone standing on a pole to try and win immunity, 10 mins on buying advantages with tokens and/or turning over rocks to find idols, 10 mins of whispering at tribal council.

It's easy to see how it got to this stage with trying to keep it fresh but it's really kind of lost the sense in which it was just the perfectly designed game due to too many idols and gimmicks.
Haven't watched this season or the end of the last, doesn't seem like i am missing much, used to look forward to it !
    This too shall pass.

One can be solved far quicker than the other.

I just think framing as a matter of health in light of the current situation does more to address workers immediate health than framing as institutional sexism.

It's not a case of ignoring, it's a case of putting your weight behind the problem most at hand.
In your first response, you didn't recognise that what happened was sexist - that should make you think that perhaps the sexism is a really important part of the story.

I understood the perspective of the article and that some institutional sexism exists.
I have elaborated on my opinion beyond the first response though.

If you choose to believe that a failure to acknowledge is a failure to understand it's importance, then that's up to you.

                    There's no €5 pint that's 4x better than a €1.25 can.

I've five of these heading to mates in Dublin but have two mates, one in Ashbourne and one in Cellbridge and they can't deliver that far out so was just looking for some kind of an alternative, won't be the exact same but want to get them something else.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words. They really meant a lot to me .It was the strangest of days with a few more to come.

Noel , I appreciate your quote and its relevance. . I smiled and cried while reading it.

Tony, That is an unenviable position to find yourself in . I wish you the very best.

The Faithlegg course doesn't get the spend on condition it once did, but it's greens when they get them right are 2nd to none in the country.

                                Sorry for late reply Nicky.
So we are playing a poker tournament in some hotel in Tramore (hotel is a generous name for it) and Nicky organiosed a game of golf for Tramore, Nick and marty Smith against Mick McCluskey and me.
I had played with Nicky before, but I had no idea what the 2 lads were like. Anyway, when I play golf, I like to use a buggy as I dont do that much exercise and 18 holes on a somewhat hilly course is a bit much for an unfit lad like me.
But Nicky informed that Tramore didnt do buggys, so I had to do with a pull trolley.

I wont go into the round in detail, but at the 1st, Mick was 90 yards out and we were chatting about his next shot, Trouble at the back of the green so i suggested a wedge or maybe 9 iron, but Mick takes out the 5 wood and lashes it . I then find out Mick never uses an iron, he has a wood for every shot.
Anyway, it was an enjoyable game and I was playingg quite well tbh, and i think myself and Mick turned 3 up. But as the back 9 went on, tiredness set in and the boys came roaring back to win the game. We shook hands on the 18th, and as we were walking back to the clubhouse, at the back of the clubhouse there is about 5 or 6 buggys parked up.
I says to Nicky "I thought you said they didnt have buggys here?" and Nicky roars laughing "you should never believe a poker player Connie"

Was a great laugh afterwards. But i think I got Nicky back when he drove from Waterford to Waterville for 2 days golf afterwards

Must have a game Nicky when the ban lifts,

Fingers crossed we can get out over the summer. Hope all the family are well, I know there's no fear of you. Stay safe.

Honestly don't know how you two still speak after that.

Had Waterville booked for May 9th. Friend's wedding 10th. Had the golf booked since November. Distraught it's gone. Pretty sure my mate is more upset about the golf then his wedding getting the bullet.

Had Mount Juliet booked for good Friday. Turned out to be the most beautiful April day. Missed Fota also along with club golf. Second kid on the way in September. The season is almost over before it has begun.

I'd settle for a game of crazy golf at this stage I was thinking of hopping over a fence with 2 clubs but the social media condemnation would destroy me and future generations of my clan tis just not worth it.

Back in the 90s a girl in our group of friends used to have regular house parties in the summer when her folks were away. Her dad was a sergeant and it wouldn't be unusual for her to sort of lose control / not really care when a couple of the lads would go into the wardrobe and dress us up in the full regalia. It all got a bit too much on time and the two of them went off 'on patrol' around Castleknock around 9 am on a Sunday morning, completely off their face, telling joggers off for running too fast, and dog walkers that their leads were too long. God knows what would have happened to them if they were caught.

It talks about some of the possible silent effects of Covid and complications arising in people who have fought it off successfully in some cases with what was deemed very mild symptoms.

I think people are little too cognisant of specs rather than form, utility, and style as a means of choosing a laptop to buy these days. One is derided while the other seems to be a badge of honor. Truth is most people never push laptops to anything near what they are capable of these days and never will and this idea that you are future-proofing doesn't hold that much weight as computing needs aren't really moving that quickly these days for your average user. For those reasons it would take something extraordinary for me to leave the Surface ecosystem now.

Although looking at the leaked likely prices of a Surface Book 3, due to be released next month is teeth gnashing. Truth is I have no real need for an upgrade. Work laptop is a high spec new one. I am still on a 1st Gen SB as my personal computer which is around 3 years old and it still runs like a dream. Admittedly I am not doing anything massively intensive with it but regularly would have a tonne of different applications open. They will have to really hit it out of the park with the SB3 to have me consider spending the kind of money that they want for it.

                                                                                  Opr

Music/Photo/Video editing were the ones, in particular, I was thinking that generally, people involved tend to opt for the best possible. Gamers tend to lean more towards desktops. It just makes far more sense given the cost of kitting a laptop with the best kind of specs. I am a programmer and unless you tend towards 3D/Data Science stuff it isn't really a concern. My three-year-old SB, for example, will run almost everything I need without complaint. For the majority of people though who just use laptops for general applications, surfing, watching stuff etc the specs really aren't of any concern these days.

I don't know of anywhere that record the info you were asking about although could well be a database somewhere. It's not something you'd generally see on golf club websites either but most clubhouses will have plaques listing of past captains, many with accompanying photos.
