I always bid taxi drivers a Happy Christmas all year around . I'm somewhat cynical of the fares so my bidding does contain a trace of sarcasm as well as a genuine wish that they keep the money well for the festivities.

Find out whom one gets referred to for specialist stuff and see if they do general dental work.

I mentioned it before but I came across a report of the annual Irish Dental Association awards and one of them was "most improved practice".

The council always says no to these things as it keeps the most people happy, nobody expects them to say yes, and the council is happy enough to say no and keep everyone happy know Bord Pleanala will do the hard work. Yeah, I'm sure that's pretty much how it will work.
I guess there's an inbuilt 'give' in these things - they applied for 9 stories knowing it'll probably be cut to 6 or 7 by ABP who'll want to be seen not to be caving in, a larger portion of the Backroom Venue might be saved and there'll be alterations in the design to 'fit in' with the local environs. But all just part of the game and it will eventually go-ahead.

You'd assume so. Be nice of they could find a compromise to renovate the neighboring derelict buildings while maintaining the full cobblestone spaces.

Don't like this idea of Ireland deciding the DCC vaccine cert on it's own isn't good enough, and needing to get an extra covid test to travel/return here.
Seems like something that the government should tell NPHET that they are going to stick with the EU on, and not the NPHET advice.

Also it would surely slow down the take-up of boosters - a huge part of the enthusiasm for the vaccine was that it got you the DCC cert which enabled you to seamlessly go on holidays.
Having to spend day 4 of your week away organising tests in a foreign country would be a total turn-off for many, leading to people holding off going on holidays, reducing the urgency to be vaccine'd/boostered.

We do a bimonthly charity donation of clothes, mostly for kids, old ones can go in plus nighties for daughter etc.
