                            I was about to congratulate Silver Tiger on being on our first round leader but then the slumbering giant that is Strewelpeter swooped from the clouds with a 14\1 winner to leap into the outright lead.

                            He is notoriously a tempermental beast who is best served by being placed right on the line so how he will react to being in front this far out is anyone's guess.

                            It's been a good day's racing all round and there are plenty in contention with full clips to unload going into moving day. All to play for:

                                                                                                          What an absolute load of rubbish statement. ITV Racing sucks on so many fronts. I find it so hard to watch their coverage. Chamberlin was a Chambermaid if it didnt do it.

                                                                                                              If a declared runner gets balloted out due to a maxsize field, then it overrides the antepost rules and you get your money back.
                                                                                                              It's one of those 'not a lot of people know that so the bookies get to keep unsuspecting punters money' things.
                                                                                                              Is usually only a factor in a handful of antepost hcap races, GN, Ayr Gold Cup, Ebor are the obvious ones. Non-handicaps rarely have max fields.
