The runners have cantered on track this morning and all looking well, with their summer coats gleaming.
Dogged overnight leader rounders won't go down without a fight but there's a host of unexposed runners from big stables queueing up just behind him. Watch out too for Dead Parrot who seems fit and raring to do himself justice after a stalls entry problem yesterday. Just to report, eagle eye underwent a pre parade vetenary inspection. He went wrong yesterday changing horses in midstream but the vetenary report was unrelated and he had just bit his lip in the pre parade. Just for good measure he was asked to do a trot to make sure his action was ok and it was enough for the vet and is passed fit.
GAB was interviewed by the stewards as to his much improved performance out of the blue. The stewards were suddenly satisfied when changed tack and bored them about mortise and tenon joints.
