The blinds and antes look a bit mad in this.
Are they correct?

Button pays the ante, equal to.1bb. Worked very well at the Dublin game.

I think the whole structure looks a bit mad. Was nothing wrong with the 25k stack starting at 50/100 blinds

Yes, they're correct. All partypokerLIVE events use the Button Ante system. There are definite advantages to using the button ante, the most relevant being that it speeds up play, which allows for more hands to be played per level.
There is more information on the button ante available here if you wish to have a look at it: https://www.dusktilldawncasinonottin...s/button-ante/

Any chance of transferring multiple 120 Grand Prix online tickets into tickets for this? For surplus ones please?

Are the blinds really 500/1,000 on the first level ?
This means the starting stack is 100 big blinds.

Yes, this is a depressing concept known as chip inflation. Organisers for years have been slowly putting up the starting stacks of tournaments, whilst changing all the other variables, so the tournament structure actually stays the same but (or gets worse) but at a quick glance looks better. The sad fact is it works to a certain extent, some players just look at the starting stack and judge the quality based on that fact alone.
