    Hand Exposed Mid-Action

Was asked to put this up by the person involved in the hand.

FT - CO raises preflop & called by SB.

Flop is A52, SB checks - CO bets & SB reraises (both still plenty behind).

CO thinks, has a little mumble to himself and turns his cards face up with an obvious intention to be a fold but doesn't say fold. When they are turned over he realizes he has A5 and not the A8 he thought he had. Dealer calls floor........

CO can only call the SB's reraise and then can only check behind/call the SB's future action, plus he receives a warning for exposing his hand.

Thread title sounds like something from Movies for Men.

      Also what Flushdraw said

Flushdraw is right. Definitely a penalty though, some people are lenient here but it shoulf be a round of the table.

Connie has a rule in his clubs that if you deliberately show your hand it is dead. I kind of like this one

My take would have been exactly what Flushdraw said too (& I was at the table) but its not what was ruled.

Ruling was CO had all his options open so he shoved

ruling is he has all his options.
Penalty is given upon completion of the hand.

That ruling has been in place for a loooong while now.
