With a lot of the scandalnavians arriving early to play this it should be a very interesting tournie!

hi jp,

Was at the super poker event recently in Citywest and found there were no banklinks in the hotel anymore and reception would only give a max 150e cash back...dont know if u have your own way of giving cash back at your event,i presume alot of people will be looking for banklinks during the festival.

Just tought i mention it.

Best of luck with the event.

JP, just curious as to what numbers you are hopeful of this year for the Masters?

Are you expecting many of the Norwegians to play it?

Different venue & buyin than last year make any difference, although looking at last years results you seem to attract a lot of good players http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/event.php?a=r&n=55890
(and having Breifne & Bubbleking in there should encourage even the novice to play in this)

Hopefully gets the turnout it deserves.

Hi Ciaran,

A realistic number would be 250-280 based on the interest I've had in the last few weeks. I did think we were going to get 350+ plus for the JP Masters.

However alot of the Norwegians who are arriving earlier will be playing the 6-Max Limit Norwegian Championship event on Saturday so they can't play my masters. That said the cash action on Friday night should be pretty sick.

Speaking of cash action.

Tomorrow night we will be only hosting the Donkr HighRoller Cash table and we will start the feeder tables from Thursday.

This will be starting with dinner in the lemon grass at 4pm.
Followed by some interviews and photo shoots.
Cards in the air at 7pm.

Looks like it will be very interesting with 4 Irish v 4 Norwegian.

We will be showing streaming with a 1 hour delay on http://no.donkr.com/ for anyone interested in watching with our feeder tables happening from 6pm on Thursday

The hotel have limited space available.

Saturday 31st March is over booked which I found out to my horror this morning as all my staff rooms had sold.

They have just under 100 rooms for all other nights. You need to get booking if you wish to stay in City West.
