I predicted that this would happen so I'm not at all surprised to see that the N7 from Kill to the N9 junction is actually moving a small bit better than a normal Friday despite the route being a sea of cones, narrowed lanes and no hard shoulder.

Fairly sure that if at peak times they always put a rigorously enforced variable speed limits and had the tow trucks in place to take every minor prang off the road immediately there wouldn't be any need to be building extra lanes and bigger junctions. The trick is to make it difficult for people to continue driving like idiots.

The fucking morons who get a bit of a bump and refuse to move their car off the road until the cops arrive should be put down... instead they get a fucking 60K jackpot courtesy of out bewigged friends

Mrsfd you appear to be in good hands. I might fly over myself. Told yesterday I'm in fine fettle.
Hmmmm. Good luck to you and ticker and don't go mad with the exercises until diagnosed.

I go in, get wired up and they get started. I was taken off my blood pressure meds on Sunday in prep for this. Been out walking and trying to get my cardio fitness a BIT better. Running up and down the stairs too lol.
The test seems ok, They stopped it after 10 mins after I had been running for a few mins. The Dr was beside me and chatting on and off. Things going great. At the last stage I did I was feeling a bit out of puff but didn't break a sweat. The Dr called the other one over and they pointing at something. They stop the test and I get a chair put behind me and was asked to sit.

They kept watching the charts and said they wanted another opinion off another cardiologist. I feel kind of panicked at this stage. I then after 2 mins get asked to stand up and they keep watching. I knew from my fitbit my HR had gone down a good bit anyway.

Got unplugged and asked to get dressed and wait in the little room just outside. They come out and explain about my ST depressions worsened in my last stage and at recovery and they concerned. They then get another cardiologist to look and bang, I have to come back for a mibi scan where they inject a dye into my arm and make me do the stress test again and see where the problem is.

Not done a stroke of work today, been in a bit of a daze tbh. The thought of heart surgery scared the bejesus out of me. I will know more in 6 months when I see the cardiologist after all the tests are completed.
Trying not to worry about it, but it's difficult

They saw in Malta some of the ECG I had done in the last couple of years in Ireland and said it was showing then. How the fuck was nothing mentioned? I have seen Cardiac departments in Letterkenny General, Sligo, Crumlin and the MaterDei.

Not fucking happy!

Would they not just do an angio if they are concerned about a blockage ? Tis the gold standard.

I much prefer the one they are doing! same thing really. I get an echo done with the dye in me and a repeat of the stress test. Think they think more narrow than blocked though.

No I have the tests all done in between. That is to see what they going to do about it. I would imagine if they see something sinister they will bring that forward. I am hoping mine doesn't get to a blocked!

I have the same ST depression showing for a good few years, a few months wont make a wile lot of difference really.

The Shape of Water is gem of a movie.

Three Billboards didn't do it for me. Snappy dialogue but it just didn't ring true.

Ladybird enjoyable if somewhat standard coming of age movie.

I, Tonya next.

AFAIK all diagnostic ecgs done here are tested in software as well as by the expert eye.

Good to see the Young Scientist doing their best to dispell the nerdy image of scientists.

Well that doesn't explain a thing if that is the case. They saw the Irish Hospitals own paperwork. But then again. With the eldests Long QT a Dr missed it for 3 years despite her going to the hospital with chest pains. She goes in with an unrelated thing, gets an ECG and its spotted by a different Dr. She went over the previous ones and saw the same condition had been there.

So the software and expert eye missed that one too on 3/4 different occasions.

For anyone who knows Kildare town it's in the unit where Xtra-vision formerly was and for those who don't, it's directly across from the Hertiage Centre in the middle of the town on the opposite side to the BOI.
I looked at the unit right next door today. Presently attempting to source a premises in Kildare.
