There are a lot of very sound people on this site, some of whom have posted on this thread.

When you're the new guy and everybody is telling you that your behaviour is out of line you really need to reassess your attitude.

Telling people they're going to get a kicking at their next live event is certainly a mistake as well.

Gedast, seriously....give us a break
  • You put up a post looking to sell a % of yourself playing in 5 events totalling $140. You have 5 edits on your OP as you're talking about cake back and 60/40 and all sorts of rubbish that don't go hand in hand with selling % so people are pointing you in the right direction
  • You post up about 10 reminders that stink of desperation and it's looking increasingly like you don't have the funds to play and you're looking for a stake
  • You manage to get 3 different people to transfer you across 5% each so you got $21 into your account
  • You put the event up on CMU and it's cancelled. I don't know how the site works, but it an event is cancelled on CMU, you can still play the games on Pokerstars..
  • You post at 12.17 saying the event is cancelled and you'll ship back money tomorrow. You were meant to play 5 events and the 2nd one only kicked off at 12.15 so people can't understand how it was cancelled
  • You're meant to ship the money back asap, so posters that sent you money are wondering why you couldn't have shipped it back straight away?
  • Now here's a serious question for you. Have you shipped the funds back yet?
  • You say that you're internet is down, so either way people's money was going down the drain because you wouldn't have been able to play so looks like they were backing a dead horse.
  • Just before i say anything else, is your internet connection back working?

Just a coincidence that his internet went only a few mins after he found out he couldn't play the games?

If he got the funds for all the games he wanted i wonder would his connection go.

Also in your last post saying its cancelled you should have posted saying that your internet was down instead of leaving your stakers in the dark about what happened.

Looks like he tried to raise the money on here and then when someone changed his UKash voucher he didn't need the cash anymore so decided to go alone.

That's the point. If he's online playing, he should have transferred back the $21 to the lads straight away. He also should have mentioned why it was cancelled. Going to have to put a few more rules into place in the charter because of this mess

I have no problem staking people on this site but this thread seemed a bit off from the start.
As per Flushdraws post above u do know these things are easily tracked online as u can see below?

http://www.pokerprolabs.com/GedasT/PokerStars.aspx

Maybe u should rethink how u conduct business on here?

Things like this are not good for a sites reputation.

I just voted for the first time ever on a thread. Was reading this last night before the event started, had a feeling it was going to be a good one. Downtown posting about that hand was pretty good as well, strange that he didn't remember that hand alright.

Nah can't check anything like that.

Let's hope he comes online, ships the loots to the 3 lads and then see what happens

OK going to postpone passing judgement on gedast, until later when he has had ample time to ship back (only $7, but its the principle) the only posts I have in this thread is saying I will take % of him and this 1.
I am willing to give anybody here a chance and buy %/stake them. as I was a newbie here once (still fairly new) and it was the people on here who treated me well gave me advice, got some stakes and improved my game. In return I traet them all with the respect they deserve.
This is my problem gedast, I was the first to buy percentage off you no questions asked,
If your internet connection went down that is unlucky, these things happen. What makes ppl suspicious is the fact you were playing online and also able to post here without being able to ship back funds. Also you should read back over your thread and realise that it looks like a desperate plea to get staked, by means ppl putting up threads selling % are hoping to sell as much as they have planned on. but just put up the thread the stats that matter and leave it at that, if ppl want to buy some they will. If they seee the op basically pleading for ppl to buy % they think there is something dodgy.
I am an openminded person so am giving you the benefit of the doubt, but as a piece of advice be honest with ppl on here as someday these ppl could be the making or breaking of a poker players reputation. most importantly if ppl send you $$$$ and you cant play for whatever reason you should always ship back asap, n ot tell them you will do it tomorrow

what iam confused about is the whole ukash voucher thing, why would you need anyone else to cash it for you
what restrictions would be on your a/c that allows you to accept a player transfer but not cash a ukash.??
