Loved this post from Damo:

If his voucher was cashed and transfered then why did he not play , he would have had plenty of funds along with the stakes he recieved to enable him to play. Who ever changed the voucher better hope they dont get a knock on the door from the coppers asking where they got it .

Allmost ended up under my table

Normal people would have shipped the $ back when they knew they were not going to play!
even if your above excuse it true (which i dought) even with a low connection you would have been able to ship the fudns back!

suerley if the money was shipped back as promised to those who staked then there is absolutley no problems here. Internet going down is a serious pox but happens to everyone at some time or another. Pity it was the first time you were staked etc etc but perhaps those not involved should stay out of it. As such Im out

Game over son

Look this is an important point and not a needle because it will affect future staking decisions. Emmet and the Ckid you seem to be taking his side so what do you make of this? Fair enough he said his connection was going down so lets give him the benefit of the doubt there and he had to play the tournaments he was already reg'd for. Fair enough he could access stars but not IPB. suspicious but il give him the benefit of the doubt because he said he was getting disconnected every 2 mins.

now these tournaments were

1 11 dollar freeze out
and 3 rebuy tournament at 11, 3.50 and 5.50

these all started between 12am and 1.15am

what I dont understand is why if his connection was so bad would he still play a 55 dollar freeze out at 2.30am

your move Mr Bond

But seriously no to scammers and all that

I'm not taking any sides, I thought the backlash was premature, and that nobody gave him a chance to even explain what went on. I thought that was borderline retarded.

I think we've cleared up this mess. Gedast connection was down and he couldn't do the player transfers back to the players. Everyone has now received their money and it was all just a big misunderstanding.

The big mistake Gedast made is not explaining his options and what was happening. In such an event occurs again, please try o post something along the lines of below, so there'l be no witchhunt and no mud slinging.

"Sorry lads, my connection is rubbish so i'm not going to risk your money incase it goes down altogether. I'll try a couple with my own bankroll so there's no risk to yous and i'll transfer back all the stakes in the morning. My connection is so bad, that the cashier window won't open to try tonight, but will look after it first thing"
