Hey all,
Bohsman has insisted I start one of these to post HH's for criticism in the hopes that my game will improve.
Bit of background on me:
Most of you would probably recognise me from The Merrion or The Fitz as I worked in both for a few years. Everyone pretty much knows me as Harry Potter. AKA Neil. Poker for me started in The Merrion at the Thursday freerolls, slowly working my way up to the €20 game and from there I started playing solidly 4/5 days a week. After about a 2 year live stint I decided to give online a crack. Now I've never really pushed hard online to better myself up until recently. Even after being staked by Gutshot Poker, I never took it too seriously. Mainly because I knew that if I lost, my roll would be replenished on Friday at midnight.
About 10 months ago I got a $600 stake from Bohsman to play $6.50 9man SnG's on Stars. It went horrendous to say the least. 20 tabling was not my brightest idea. After about 3 or 4 weeks of solid losing I shipped the remaining funds back as I felt I wasn't ready. Back to the drawing board for me. I began reading a bit here, not posting as I wasn't really playing much so felt I had little or nothing to contribute. Finally gave 2+2 a proper read. Still monitoring a few threads closely.
So here I am, ready to take a shot once again at grinding a profit in $6.50 9man SnG's
My roll has started at $200 (I know 30 BI's is a little less than optimal but I really feel I can grind it out)
Below is a link to my Sharkscope. The long losing session was my previous attempt. The upswing is my result over the past 2 weeks. I work a full-time job so am unable to put in huge volume. Playing in batches of 4, sometimes 5, for roughly 3 hours 4 nights a week.
My goal from this is to improve and I feel with constant nit picking at my play it will. I will post my exit hand from every SnG and any other hands I think are interesting.
Thanks for reading!
