Day 2 play began with 129 players looking to survive the bubble and earn a minimum of €280

With 56 players left, Floor, Glenn Doyle declared that hand-for-hand action would begin. We quickly had a flurry of all in and calls at a number of tables.

Despite this after more than 15 more minutes of play we still had 56 players seated.
We then had two all in and calls in the corner of the room at Tables 2 and 6

At Table 2
Audrius Pilypaitis on the button goes all in pre-flop for 70,000 holding Ks Jc
Gediminas Bartkus calls from the Small Blind with Ah Qd
Flop: Ad 6d 5d leaving Audrius Pilypaitis needing runner runner to survive

Turn: 4c

River: Kh sending Audrius Pilypaitis to the rail needing another bust – out from Table 6 to have any hope of splitting the min cash

At Table 6

Pre-flop Donnie Lyons is all in for 25,000 holdin Kc Qc
Two callers Kieran and Neven

Flop: 6c Jh Ks check, check on the flop
Turn: 4d check, check
River: 9h, Neven Marusic bets 100,000 Kieran Ryan folds

Showdown- Neven Marusic shows Ac Kh for pair of K’s with an A
Donnie Lyons shows Qc Kc for pair of K’S with a Q
Leaving Donnie Lyons to split the 55TH place min cash with Audrius Pilypaitis

Congratulations to the other 54 players who are all in the money and keeping the dream alive of 1st place winnings and the PokerStars Spade!

.

We have a winner!

It was Janos Jeszek who finally came out victorious to take 1st Place position, the PokerStars, MEGASTACK Spade and the title of the 1st MEGASTACK Munster Champion!

Thanks to all who made ‘The Trip to Tipp’ to play the event and make it the massive success that it was.

You all ensured that we were able to bring back the craic to a live tournament!

Congrats to all who cashed.

Full report to follow
