Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors

Trying to find interesting hands - 10nl is different to what I remember. Im 10 tabeling and seeing a lot more 3betting and 4betting. Standard is still piss poor.

On to this hand have about 100 hands on both

Fish one BB is 44/26 fold to cbet 0%
Fish two UTG is 46/29 raise cbet 30%- has run like christ himself to get that stack together but nothing unusual just getting it in with AA v KK a couple of times

Poker Stars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (5 handed) - Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

BB ($8)
UTG ($38.31)
MP ($17.73)
Button ($7.27)
Hero (SB) ($12.57)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, Q
UTG bets $0.40, 2 folds, Hero raises $1.15, BB calls $1.10, UTG calls $0.80

Flop: ($3.60) J, 8, 7 (3 players)
Hero bets $1.70, BB calls $1.70, UTG raises $4.50

Total pot: $8.70

hero is miffed even though its probably a straight forward decision

I blame HJ, he started it last week. I actually think it's quite cool.

Not straightforward. Pretty dirty.

It's one of those hands for where I would have liked to be there. Like from previous play do you think the UTG guy will raise a cbet with TP and how likely is the BB to slow play a set (even two pair?) here.

I guess some aggression stats would help, but you get a better idea from seeing how they have played other hands.

I am more likely to fold without this info. If I have reason to believe that UTG can raise light and BB will call wide here I will be more likely to continue with the hand. Even looking at the more optimistic scenario here we are never cruising.

fish 1 has an aggression of 1.0

fish 2 has an aggression of 2.2 but a 0% fold to 3bet over 10 samples so assigning him a range could be difficult

how has he been 3bet 10 times in a 100 hand sample?

More pre. Flop is close between b/shove and b/fold. Prefer b/shoving here, villain has a lot of pair/draw/combo-draw type hands on this texture and BB will block some.

In PokerTracker, using 'fold to 3b %' instead of 'fold to 3b after raising %' (or something similar to that) caused me the exact same problem, it accounted for the times someone has 3bet before it even gets to villain, retarded and hugely misleading.

I ended up tank folding.

BB got it in versus UTG

BB = TJ lol
UTG = 9T for the nuts

Even if your decision was right based on holdings, I think it was wrong verses these guys.

On stats alone, the OR is raising too wide. Not folding to 3Bets. They are calling way way too much. Then once they see a flop, BB never folds to a c-bet. And UTG raises a large chunk of c-bets. Get it in here, run good.
