Voting for a millionaire tax exile who is a prick to his workers for ceremonial head of state is the sort of 'protest vote for the paying class' you would expect from UKIP droolers.

            .
it doesn't seem to be working out like that, instead each step in coarsining the rhetoric enables the next nail in the coffin of democracy.
Don't forget that the cabal of mass murderers behind the curtain in SF will notice if their highly plausible and very electable MEP , a daughter of Sean O'Riada FFS, is beaten out of sight by a scumbag racist gobshite because he plays to the lowest common denominator (and the pockets of a few punters).

Yeah was v surprised by that. Pretty sad, and just as his new venture was such a success.

Day 1 - none, could move in quite happily without needing to do anything. Bathroom suites could do with an upgrade but they are cheap to do.

Day 2 - there is a very obvious build out of the first floor that could be done to give everyone a big bedroom (currently it's 2 large and 2 smallish), and a master bedroom suite thing could be done for us.

Its an interesting combination of the Beer Hall Putsch, the attempted takeover of the state through legal means, and the crowd-pleasing vilification of 10% of the population. All done in reverse this time, and in one week to suit the modern attention span.

Off on a stag in Galway for a good buddy of my departed bro. Thankfully only doing the first night as i'll have at least 7 years on the average punter and not sure if thr stamina is up to the test these days.

More looking forward to a few early Guinness in Murphys and a few Dundalk punts to the later inevitable carnage.

Seems like an odd time to go through the stress of moving, after a rebuild and a few years before you dispose of the youngins

Day 2 of my ‘rocking up to venues looking for a ticket. Arranged to meet the Eldest Bro for ELO (his fav with Steely Dan) . He was worried as it was sold out and we have no tickets. I arrived 1st went through a few touts and refused to pay the asking price. A Luas arrived, the touts shouting, anyone want TICKETTTTSSS. Crowd shuffled by. As the Luas crowd emptied by. I said, how much. He said face value, 90 Euro (I hmmmm’d) I’m looking for two. I’ll do you a deal for 2 . I’ll pay 150? . Ok here you go. Took the two tickets @ 150. (was prepared to pay the 90 each eventually). Brother arrived. 150 Sez I. EACH? Ah feck sure I’ll pay it. No for the two. Big grin, great seats, great gig.

It’s nice to be in the lower demographic age-wise for the rare occasion. Some old folk at this one. Jeff Lynne knows how to craft a show.

Oldest is only 11, be a while yet - especially if they go to college in Dublin.

I will make no comment on your line above other than to say'Home of the Year' is a very dangerous tv programme.

Financially, it's actually no biggie. We'll have 65-70% equity straight away.

heh, I had a few pints in Murphys following the Connacht game 2 weeks back. In the side bar, where they show the racing. Got to about 6 and all the racing was done for the day so one of our number asked the barwoman could we switch over to the Ulster game.
