Satnav. Rip to your doggie let Mia say goodbye. It's not about just you. Having said that you 'are the mammy and clearly doing a great job with that wonderful child. Do what you think best .

Mellor . In my past my appetite does soar after exercise but it can't get any more savage than now.

When I was younger, a neighbour hit a different neighbours dog outside our house. After some consultation, my father got out his shotgun.

One of our dogs ran into a weedcutter in the field with horrible consequences for him. We also had a dog that 'ran away' after a night out chasing sheep.

We stopped having dogs after him. We did have an old dog, rebel, that lived to 14 though, so it wasn't all grim countryside life.

            @SatNav,

While we haven't been through the loss of a pet and don't have kids we have been there when my wife's grandfather was euthanised.

While it's not the easiest thing in the world it's so great to give a peaceful and dignified departure where everyone did say goodbye and the loved one is surrounded by family.

It always seems that your daughter is very capable from your posts so like others I would urge honesty and (my own view) inclusion. It will give her more peace in the medium term to know that the right decision was made rather than prolonging suffering.
May you live in interesting times!

Mia got up at 7.15 am I was in kitchen and she said oh why is freckles in. I said mia she had a really bad night and she was also peeing on the blanket she had slept on. I have to call vet today to see her.
Mia is showing some foreign teachers around their new school this morn and was excited about it.
I was just not able to tell her truth, I just couldn't watch her walk out the door to get on her school bus worrying.

She was petting her away before she left and now knows the vet is calling. It's the best I could do. I just hadn't the courage to tell truth. But I'm hoping it's not a huge huge shock as dog is in kitchen which never happens and she knows the vet is coming.

I'll be here when mia comes home, I can handle that part, I can't handle her gone off to school knowing it's deffo gonna happen.

. Mia is gone to School in good form she obv won't be in good form when home but I'll be here for her in that way. I honestly think it's the best decision.

              Thanks for the advice btw

Running my first ever 5k tomorrow. What's a relastic target for an over weight injury prone gentleman? Only excersise I've done in last 3 months is played about 4 90 mins soccer games in center mid were I almost died from being so unfit. Haven't done anything in the last 4 weeks due to an ankle injury.

Anything sub 30 I'd be over the moon but will say 32. Thoughts?
My advice would be to start slow, about 70% effort. If you burst out the gate you'll likely run out of gas at 3k.

Take it easy until about 3k then up the pace. I think you should be more concerned about running the entire distance and forget about a time for this one.

Do three or four like that and then target a time.
I hold silver in tit for tat, and I love you for that

GL Michelle, no matter what you did she would be devastated so don't fret about it. Don't suggest getting a new dog.

I'd think youd get something like 35 for your first 5k maybe more dependibg on how much you run at football. Definitely shouldnt go too fast or youll fuck yourself up.

They can just fuck off , what they did in paying hush money is criminal.

Allowed their servers be hacked and card data linked to email accounts - Very bad but shit happens, you warn your customers and lock up your data better in future.
Instead they took the stupidest approach possible, they paid off the hackers in return for a promise that they would delete the data and keep quiet about it.

Just read the BBV there. Michelle, that was a tough decision you had to take. I kind of understand why you didn't want her to leave all upset when she was on a high. I do know though I would have liked to have been told.

I was a little older than Mia when our poodle Cobber was taken away and put to sleep. I knew he had a good life and I was sad I wasn't there when he was put down.

I know from the reaction of my two eldest when our pup died a few years back that it will be tough on her and they didn't have the pup more than 16 weeks. The little one wasn't phased at all with the death of the dog though.

Your dog was more than just a dog, he was family and always in Mia's life. I hope you don't decide to tell her you knew the dog was getting put down and just didn't tell her as she might be really peed off at you for that. Best to make it out that the decision was made on the spot by the vet and you felt it was the most humane thing to do. Is there any way she can get home to see the dog before he is taken away?

People can react quite emotionally to not seeing them for the last time, my brother dug up our dog to say goodbye when he came back to Ireland (and he is an adult).

On a pet related note my family home is now the owner of a "micro" pig to go along with the real pygmy goat and the not so real one.

Currently 5 dogs, 2 ponies, 1 pygmy goat, 1 not so pygmy goat, 2 rabbits and this 'micro' pig.

If I gave the full list of historical pets I doubt you'd believe me.

He's claimed he himself would beat Jordan 1vs1 after averaging 2 points a game in his own college career.

Lonzo got drafted by the Lakers no2 after going to UCLA and has been somewhat underwhelming so far given the hype.

LiAngelo has committed to UCLA and LaMelo is planning on going there too. He's basically trying to build a dynasty. LiAngelo probably won't be a 1st round pick but hype may get him to the NBA. LaMelo will, he's scored 80 points in a high school game so he should have the talent.

LaVar representing Lonzo and co turned down all the major contract offers from Nike Adidas etc as none of them would let him bring his "Big Baller Brand" (yea that's the actual name) and make it a subsidiary similar to Jordan.

LaVar is basically the Trump version of the obsessed sporting parents. He's a complete troll himself.

Very, very cool devices, and that's without us having any other smart devices to link up with them... yet

Watched it this week thinking the exact same as yourself. Episodes 1, 2 & 3 were great, full of action and I thought this is pretty cool. Then episodes 4 to 8 are just the exact same things in different locations around LA. They tried to add some drama where one team tried to poach a guy off another team, set up a meeting between the 3 bosses in a car park which ended up with one telling the other to fuck off and one team had a whinge about how the other do things.

4 or 5 episodes would have been perfect. Probably worth a watch if you're bored or hungover some day

He's claimed he himself would beat Jordan 1vs1 after averaging 2 points a game in his own college career.
