The plan is to do the usual and lose money over the week.

Treble on Darlan, Sprinter Sacre and Hurricane Fly.

E/W+double on Quantitativeeasing and Garde Champetre.

I'm really sweet on A New Story in the X country. He loves fast ground and a trip and his form over the CD is superb. He was travelling as well as anything last time when most of the field took the wrong course and I'd make him odds on to be in the first 4 tbh. I've been following this horse for donkeys years as I know the owner well and this is exactly what he needs. Only 16 runners at the moment so it will need to stay that way to get value out of the each way with the bookies but Betfair will pay 4 places regardless.

Lads, I never bet in the shops but dont have a choice tomorrow. I want to do an e/w treble of Sacre, Fly and Quevega. What would I write on the betslip?

So used to betting online and have heard too many stories of writing the wrong thing.

Whatever you write just make sure you tell them your doing it for your granny and roll your eyes in case they laugh at you for backing a 1/2f and 2 1/1favs each way!.

Just what you wrote there.

x EW Treble and put the full name of the horses. Unless they could be running in one of two races then there really isn't a need to put time of race but you can if you like.

In full agreement with ya on Oscars Well in the match bet, think he'll run a big race!! What in your opinion makes Hurricane Fly very beatable??

1.83 on Betfair from 1.9 earlier so doubt there is any truth to it

What i would suggest for you for extra buzz is to back 1 or 2 horses in the first 4 races priced between 10/1-16/1 for small stakes to win but each/way if you like. You will get a sweat in at least one race and a decent return on your output if you bink one. Forget trebling the 3 hot pots, its not worth it for what your buying into. Its better than having a fiver on Quevega and winning €2.50 and your stake back.

Remember if your backing each way its double the stake if you didnt know. So if you were doing a €2 e/w bet it will cost you €4(half as the win stake and half as the place stake).

Unfortunatly, and I normally enjoy reading your stuff. I'm blocking you now. No true race fan would ever write that. You've sank pretty deep in my estimation kid
