no irish racing today,(and tomorrow as well looking poor)going for a shot in the dark in the first in salisbury (2.30).its a maiden stakes so not a whole pile to go on.Rock Up@ 16/1,seems to have a decent draw and was quoted as" mid-division, headway over 2f out, chasing leaders when not clear run over 1f out, stayed on well".last time in newmarket over distance.a little nibble for it this morning as well.just give it a point e/w

    1 point e/w @ 16/1

rock up ran well up with the pace, ran a little green and was leading but got done in the last hundred yards by a half decent horse,(the well backed 13/8 fav)one for the tracker list along with Digress who finished 3rd,after finding all types of trouble.

a return of 4.6 giving me a bank of 74.9

just going for a small e/w on Precious Dream in the 4.50 Leopardstown, was withdrawn twice due to poor ground, but looks to be taking her chance here, last won when rated 76 and just rated 77 today in a race where due to high ratings and other factors there could be a few also rans, david Wachman looks to be interested in runner her over this distance off this rating and has waited until the ground looks right for her.there's a few dangers here but worth a small e/w at 8/1

no irish racing again today with tramore off, just going for a small e/w on Glory City in the newmarket 6.25 @ 11/2,has had two runs at the track over 7 furlongs, finishing second last time out staying on in the last furlong which can only help as this is over a mile, also has a high draw which is a plus.on the negative side he has come just a half a point in the betting with good support for other first time out horses(with better breeding)which wouldn't fill you with confidence.but he does have experience which can only help in a maiden,so i'll give it a whirl at the odds

another second, plenty of money around for harry and was well backed into 15/8,but never really looked like winning to tbh,the ould second place finishes are coming thick and fast this month..was talking to a old betting warrior the other day says he"ya know god is a bookmaker...and the whoooore is only laughing at us" kept me smiling to myself for a while afterwards.

just going for a little punt on Shukhov@10/1 in the 4.40 dundalk, trained by ger lyons which is a plus as his horses are running well at the moment, shukhov finished 3rd last time out over a 7 furlongs at the track, was nowhere in naas the time before that, and was 2nd over a mile again in dundalk,in fact in its three runs in dundalk the form reads 3-2-2 so obviously seems to run well here, rated 70 with Emmett Mcnamara taking a handy 3 lbs off.drawn in stall 7 is fair, could be better but could be a lot worse in this 17 runner field, will have to be nearer the front to land this which is no harm given the size of the field as the come from behind horses could find trouble, worth a nibble with the price guaranteed

ger lyons ended up having two winners in dundalk yesterday, unfortunately Shukhov wasn't one of them, never really got into the race with the winner more or less winning form the front.

                      had a good look at the 3.25 at tramore,its a 1m4f hcp 4yo+ (rt 50-75)

just the six runners in this and strictly on form, Passion Planet looks to have a great chance, but with the ground on the heavy side has to be a big concern after the trainer with drew the horse on soft to heavy before bringing over to england to find some decent ground.still the stable is in form and with plenty of question marks over the others,i'll give it a 2 point win

                      2 point win @ 3/1

just had a look back over the weekends racing and willie mullins is there for all to see,six runners in total with five winners and a second which only lost by a half a lenght,in fact over the last two weeks a willie mullins trained horse has not finished out side the top 4,and we're talking 15 races form flat to chase.with that in mind going for a double with Tarla@ 6/5 in the roscommon 7.10 and Sweet My Lord in tramore 4.55 @ 5/4, a 3 point double here pays a return of 14.85 points, worth a pop imo with the form the stable is in.

passion planet was a non runner due to the ground, but the mullins double came up,good to see Sweet My Lord come in for the connections,Tarla i think got lucky with moon dice taking a tumble, all three are going into the tracker.

return of 16.85 giving me a bank of 79.25

going to give Azores a another chance in the last in gowran park,is starting to get highly tried at this stage, but with the ground drying up all the time and the distance also fine,i'll give a point win @ 4/1 (pg).in the 4 o clock going with Apache Gold@ 11/1 (pg) for a little e/w,won its one and only race here on heavy and finished a running on 3rd on good over a mile,i'll give it a whirl at the odds

                          1 win @ 4/1 & 1 point e/w @ 11/1

no good yesterday, going for a max bet on Phantom Of Plenty@ 5/1 in bellewstown 7.40,he won very well in Leopardstown over 1m2f,winning going away with this jockey on board, stable in great form with ger lyons running two yesterday (1 win,1 second)
just stuck a 2 point win on Elleval@ 3/1,in the first in bellewstown, had this in the tracker since its first run in roscommon, was well backed just before the off and ran very green but seemed to learn quickly doing its best work towards the finish, ran again in galway finishing 4th,but with the drying ground and the extra experience could do well here.

and the good run continues, Phantom Of Plenty was backed all day and ended going off @ 6/4 after a few non runners, finished second after weaving around a little a few furlongs out, still looks like a good horse and going to keep it in the ht. Elleval didn't run any kind of a race tbh

notice that paul nolan is sending Red Calima to Worcester for a 2m7f handicap hurdle the 4.50,this horse has only ever raced in ireland before and by far its best form is on good ground which cant be got in ireland, last win was rated 115 and just 117 here..but has only ever raced over 2m4f or less so a little ? over the distance perhaps, then again has one a.p. mc coy to help matters along, was 5/1 but thats long gone with the best price now 4/1 worth a point i reckon

in the 4.15,a listed over a mile (for 3 yo+),going for Sweet Lightning in this @ 5/2,from the Carmody/Tinkler yard was very unlucky in the curragh last week when not finding the gaps in a 18 runner affair(which looked a little better than this race)and really showed up well in the final furlong, was well able to handle the going of soft/heavy. to day just the nine runners so a lot less chance of hard luck story, really like this tbh

in the bumper going with Klepht@ 6/4,trained by tom mullins and has patrick on board, was second last time which was the horses first run under rules and is entitled to come on from that, there's a few dangers but after watching a few vids this morning will most likely have to improve and if they do...good luck to them

in the second part of the double, going with Lean Times@ 6/1 in the 5.20 killarney, looked a little unlucky in cork last time, has a extra few furlongs here & gone up a little in the ratings but has a handy 7lb claimer on board which in effect is 4 lbs lower for todays run, just the 7 runners here so just the first 2 in the place part.

                                                                        1 point each way double @ 5/1 & 6/1
