Something unnerving about Oisin Murphy anytime I hear him interviewed. Clearly one of the more intelligent lads but there's somewhat of a psychotic streak in him I feel.

Goes again tonight (8.10) with Shane Crosse up, although market vibes don't augur much. Shit race though.

Emmet Mullins related markets seem to take on a life of their own.

First time Trens dipped below last winning mark and Shane taking 5 off you'd expect some sort of showing if he has any ability left

Michael Holding is a surprisingly good addition to the ATR coverage of Ascot, enjoyable as he is to listen to I wouldn't mind being his bookie

Jaysus Sunday Sov has gone short. Form lines looks really strong but can't imagine Aiden had Arizona fully at it first time out so he could have been a little flattered that day. Looks a lay now.

The clock lads Andy holding/Simon Rowlands are gushing over it so it could be a beast but always a little wary of these things produced to peak for an early sale.

Whether he wins or not today I've got to call out this absolute bullshit in advance.

Race 1 - RPR 74, Speed Figure 80
Race 2 - RPR 97, Speed Figure 82
Race 3 - RPR 103, Speed Figure 90

Stop talking absolute shite and exposing yourself as a guesser pretending to know something. This horse wasn't produced to peak for an early sale. It was the exact opposite.

Let's hope he can progress again today and get the job done. Air Force Jet and A'Ali look monsters on the clock as well while Mount Fuji won under tender of handling so will improve an awful lot.

Has he finished yet? That cut like a horse very much on the downward curve of peak fitness.

And as long as i'm 'guessing' right enough to keep my accounts in consistent profit I'm happy with that.

Nice pivot but still doesn't take away from the fact that you were talking pure shite.

I never claimed he was bang ready first run, he quite clearly had plenty of improvement in him after that which i noted here at the time, but there's quite clear trends in how smaller stables operate and campaign horses in order to monatize or compete with powerhouse stables.
