Get the feeling that first half was just the calm before the storm. Dublin to kick on second half and win extremely comfortably. We can all read about a spirited Westmeath side in the papers tomorrow.

Yet again, the watery weak Leinster pool will leave Dublin very ill prepared for the national phase of the summer. Dublin are absolutely dreadful today, and still comfortably in control by four points.

Westmeath are too weak. Crumbling to dust here.

Blinked and a second goal.

Now everyone switch to tennis where there is some entertainment.

Dublin errors all over the pitch and still cruising. Absolutely no urgency going forward either. I know it's hard to take such a poor team seriously but Dublin will surely have bigger tests from here so should be doing everything right imo. But at the moment they're not interested.

You can only beat what's put infront of you unfortunately. Ten points down in a Final and Westmeath are still sitting deep and not committing men forward. One man up competing on a 45 a couple of minutes ago ffs.

Yep, just switched there! Always sad to see decent crowds in Croker left wanting because of the poor contest being offered.

I know. It wasn't meant to sound like a pop a Dublin but it reads that way. Job done for them. They can do no more. Sure even the commentators are struggling to come up with things to say. I don't often say this but bring on the hurling.

thought it odd Jim Gavin didn't change it up more in running in the first half. Paul Flynn was having a shocker.

I think an average dublin training session would have more intensity then this.

On a positive note for Westmeath, that number 6 looks like a serious player.

Great line there from the commentator. The Dubs are singing, great supporters, completely unbiased. They don't care who Dublin beat lol.

Monster.
he basically confirmed he was carrying a serious injury in the post fight press conference ("let's just say it was more serious than a cracked rib" I think was his exact quote). Absolute sickness, what a man.
