If it gets a run NeddyVaughan has been holding his form on the ground and ran well again off this mark last week.

That was a lot closer than it should have been.
Charbel looked to be struggling 3 out

Only getting around to a proper write up on this event now.

Bascially a full day seminar where we've brought together whom we think are some very interesting people for a high brow conversation and sharing of knowledge and insights about horse racing and punting.

> Ivan Yates is MC, think he is very suitable for the task given his bookmaking background and well known fondness for a bet.
> Donn McClean, honestly I view him as the best Racing pundit in the game. I'd probably listen to him read the phonebook.
> Kevin Blake, long time pundit and punter of note. Racing Manager for JPOB.
> Andy Holding, veteran speed figures analyst and professional punter.
> Ben Keith of Star Sport. Always with candid views about bookmaking and punting.
> Bryan Cooper, sharing insights on race reading and how to view a race differently i.e. pick out ones for the next day.
> Johnny Ward, would readily admit to being a reformed punter i.e. initially a poor one who had to work and make changes to be a success.
> Not yet announced are a psychologist and an exchange expert. Just finalising details of both.

Topics of the day are Race Reading, Form Analysis, Punting Strategy I & II, Exchange Betting, Psychology of Betting, Behind Enemy Lines, Q&A. Sure to generate some excellent conversation and I think we will touch on all the relevant topics.

Some have said that Ä99 is pricey, honestly we were going to price it at Ä250 but changed our mind. We need 250 people through the door to break even and are sparing no expense to put on a great day. I really think it's short sighted of people to say they wouldn't pay for it yet they will happily shell off hundreds of euros on a tip from a guy in the bar!! Anyway, such is life.

Be great to see some IPBers in attendance on the day. Shout if you have any questions.

Never easy enduring 6 months of national hunt garbage but the Tingle Creek was always my favourite jumps race and todays select field looks as good as there's been in some time.

Back when Nicholls could train a decent chaser:
