    AAAx PLO8

No history or stats between me and the villain so let's presume he's somewhat competent.

    Poker Stars $0.02/$0.05 Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo - 6 players - View hand 1658217

    MP: $5.29
    CO: $12.15
    BTN: $6.62
    SB: $5.14
    Hero (BB): $10.01
    UTG: $12.16

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is BB with A :spade: A :club: A :diamond: T :spade:
1 fold, MP raises to $0.17, CO calls $0.17, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.55, MP calls $0.38, CO calls $0.38

    Flop: ($1.67) 9 :diamond: 7  6 :diamond: (3 players)
Hero bets $1, MP calls $1, CO folds

    Turn: ($3.67) 3 :club: (2 players)
    Hero?

Thoughts on all streets appreciated. Can we bet this turn given it's hard for him to have any decent low? If we bet, by how much do we bet, his stack is kinda awkward?

    Just fold pre.
AAA is a poor hand in Omaha, in HiLo its a low blocker, but I doubt you can be confident of folding out players at this level.

From any other position this is a clear fold but we are closing the action in the BB multiway and deep so peeling here is fine IMO, we only proceed past the flop when we flop a big hand though (set, straight NFD ect). 3betting pre is soooooo horrible. Check/fold flop, check/fold turn, it might be hard for him to have a good low but your hand is trash and there is so little you can barrel him off, an 8 low with any type of high hand (2 pair/OESD ect) is never folding even though its a v weak hand.
They will be like WTF how does he always have the top of his range, and they will be saying that when you show up with like nine's - Jimmy Fricke
Nine's are the top of my range - Shaun Deeb

With only one ace left, we'll rarely flop a set, with very little drawing potential with only ATs. Plus we have no low draw. I really don't think that we flop a strong hand often enough to bother with calling from the BB. Even if the odds are good

Yeah definite fold pre. This hand is miles worse than say AAT7 and even that is a fairly easy fold.

the only case AAAx is playable in plo8 is if you have a wheel card with it and a suited ace , AAA2 off suit is playable also in certain spots. AAAT plays horrible in plo8
