    In General ignoring his hand
Fold on 3rd street (or let your self a loose call hoping to hit A K or Heart)

2 pair Q's up is over time a losing hand in Stud
    1 pair is muck!
except AA or KK as they can improve to A's up K's up or trips etc

In Horse it might be stronger due to the weakness of the general play
but you are always chasing with a pair of Q's

    /
    In this hand
Once you made it to 4th street you probably didnt do much wrong from there

I would think about the re-Raise on 5th though, to show some strength behind/slow him down (?)
you were the original raiser make it look like you have 2 pair/find out if he has

Once he hits J on 6th Plays itself from there

Bottom line in general stud i would not raise with AKQ unless your playing your table image as a tight player
mellor plays a lot of horse, he will probably come in and tell you raise it up like a mad one on every street

note to self: start playing horse (so much for only one post)

*above may read like rubbish as falling asleep

I disagree with Elshambo (Glynn?). Opening with the high card Q and AK buried is standard, especially if you have a good chance to pick up the antes.

Double bet on 4th once you pair your door card is standard.

Raising or calling 5th is close:
Raise Pros: 1) Gets you to the river for the same price if you don't improve (assuming 6th gets checked around), while letting you gain a bet if you do. 2) Villain may read you stronger than you are and make a bad fold (unlikely now that we know he has the case Q, but you don't know that at the time).
Raise Cons: 1) If he 3 bets we're toast. 2) He may lead 6th, so the play will potentially cost us an additional bet from our rapidly dwindling stack.
All-in-all, I think I come down on the side of aggression and raise.

6th and 7th are standard, unless you have some additional reads and are sure he can't be bluffing the river.

Opening 3rd and double betting 4th are completely standard.

I think raising 5th would be really bad. We're already in a bit of trouble vs most people leading out here. Its gonna be quite tough for him to lead with a hand thats worse than ours, or at least much worse. I would say that about 90% of the time we're behind at the moment. He'd have to be quite a monkey to just see his pair of Qs and bet without thinking. On the other hand, we should have at least 6 outs, but not much more.

I'd fold 7th for sure, and maybe 6th.

Im only 2 happy to know that opening with AK buried is standard
Id go as far as to say im delira and excira that im up against people who are drawing to hit a pair if im in a hand

With the state of the doorcards behind, (AK)Q is a laughably easy completion IMO. Can't see the logic behind folding this. Doublebetting 4th is completely fine.

I might raise fifth but calling down is ok too, although I fooking hate calling down in stud, there's always a sense of foreboding about it.

I don't think we can fold 6th when our 2pair outs are probably good, the pot's pretty big.
