If kayroo says get a solicitor you should get a solicitor...
There are no "casinos" as they are illegal. All card clubs and "casinos" are private members clubs technically and tbh there's supposedly new legislation coming out to make it more transparentRedbet at the Dublin Poker Invasion FTW

Where do you get the idea that they are illegal? I don't think there is a decided case on that in Ireland. You are right that many operate as private members clubs - but these clubs are provided for by law. Granted the law is old, archaic and a bit of a grey area, but it is wrong to say with any degree of certainty that they are illegal.
OP - when you say a 'gambling licence' I think you mean a 'gaming' licence, i.e. one that permits use of certain level of slot machines etc...
As above, your best bet is get your Solicitor to look at it for you.

Casinos are illigal in Ireland. For more information search 1956 gaming and loterarys act.
I have owned and operated 7 gaming clubs in total in Ireland and the key componant to operating a private members clubs within the law is having planning permission.
Also you cannot operate a private members club with same access to a pub as you are restricted due to the fact that you cannot have gambling on a licience premises.
I had one of my clubs raided and closed by the Gardai in 2008, challanging the law, I was brought to court on criminal charges by the DPP, but i won the case because as we had everything in order to prove it was a members club
Planning permission
Fire Safety
Insurance
membership forms and copy of Passport/driving licience
Register with department of justice for anti-money laundering
you can give out alcohal but CANNOT sell it
have self exclusion forms in place for problem gamblers
over 21 policy in place
full set of documented Rules and regulations for the club
If you need any info pm me

Low-linear slots mainly have 3 reels and can offer players only payouts for the same symbols that fell on the line. Some of them are equipped with a progressive jackpot feature. Yes, but unlike any of them, 20-line gaming machines have more opportunities to win. There is also the possibility of play australian live dealer games. I would say that that piques the player`s interest. Who has already played live dealer games?
