This should be good. Nice to have some sort of a replacement for the usual Waterford Masters anyway

That's great news-this is always a super weekend with an established player base. I had been disappointed to hear (incorrectly as it turns out) from one of last years organisers that this was not going ahead.

Best of luck with this Seamus, Eddie and Co. and reg me please. If monies are being collected in advance let me know.

Is it now Sat/Sun?

Have room booked for Fri/Sat so need to cancel if this is the case.

Also re 25k guarantee - if you already have 135 players regged you have covered the guarantee by 4k with 3 weeks of registration still to go & a Super Sat so why drop it?

Hi dice, the game starts at 7.45 on friday the 13th and finishes out on saturday.
The reason for changing to a two day event is the buy in is to low for a three day event and it puts people off especially in the current circumstances and they dont have to book a room for the whole weekend.
There are a lot of other games on around the same time and people now have to pick which event they want to play as they cant play them all.
ALSO people register with good intent but cant always make it to the event.
I still think this event will be a success and the change to a two day event will be less expensive on people and maybe encourage more people to play.

It would be great to guarantee the event but the way things are now its too much of a risk as most operators will tell you.

I will be glad to amswer any questions people have here and I hope this does,nt stop people from coming as I have spoken to most of the registered players and explained the situation to them and thankfully they understand and will still play the event.

regards, seamus.
