You point at the exposed card and sing
    "It's You, It's You, It's You
    The Only One I Want
The card I've Been Searching For"

    Mods:
Don't give out to me...school boy error, door left open, should have been in here...

only joking.... some TD's would ask the player that said they saw the card to inform HIM (or her) of the exact card. The TD would then check the hand of the suspected exposed player.

If the card was correctly identified (card & suit) then that card would become the burnt card. If it is not the correct card... then play on.
Not everybody does this... but this is what ive seen happen.

As a Joe Dolan fan I assume you are from the midands... Fantastic game on in Kilkenny City , 21st December (€50 + €10 freezeout) 22nd December (€100 + €20 freezeout) in Ormonde Hotel

simple enough, if he does not correctly identify the card then... play on!

and if he saw it and lies?

even if its a slight chance it couldve been seen. turn it over and he gets the first burn card.
