He was taking a corticosteroid (not anabolic steroids) before some big races. The particular drug wasn't on the WADA list, so not illegal but still unethical. Yet, he also applied for a TUE?
Why did he apply for a TUE if it's not banned? Seems like a bad move. As it creates a record of what he took that liable to be leaked. And sort of suggests and attitude that he knows he should shouldn't be taking it without permission.
The story they are spinning would make more sense if he just took it and disclosed it when asked about medication when tested.

A corticosteroid is not banned, however a TUE is applied for because it will have an effect on blood levels & behavior. Cyclists are tested upwards of 20 times a year and results are recorded and monitored. Essentially by obtaining the TUE you are making UCI and WADA aware that there is the possibility of an unreliable result, and perhaps an abnormal hemocratic measurement, in any upcoming test. The cyclist could then illicitly use EPO (only a moderate dosage) without fear of its detection

The one near Suffolk street is Boston donuts on Trinity street which is near Keoghs cafe and they have lovely chocolate cake

I think donuts are dead and we will all look back at the time when we had chains stores jumping up all over the place competing for market share and wonder how the fuck did they get financing.

                    Back to a novelty purchase

Yeah there's a lot of cunts setting up businesses and fairly committing to what will just be a trend and be something else next year.

the "not allowed to lick your lips challenge" when eating a sugary donut is always a good one for the kids

Does the corticosteroid affect hemocrit? Even if it does, UCl would still alerted based on the medical questionaire. Maybe the thinking is that a TUE is a more open approach, which is fair enough. But why are authorities granting unnecessary TUEs.
These days EPO can be detected in itself. So he wouldn't be totally in the clear to microdise.

Anyone know if I'm dreaming this... There was a class ice tea in a can. 97% sure it was Lipton but was it carbonated? I remember being addicted to it and it disappearing. This is about 20 years ago.

On a side note it's just ruined my day that I remember things from 20 odd years ago. Getting on.

Tea with topioca balls (topioca is a kind of dough but can be filled differently, in bubble tea, this is usually jelly. Actually quite nice.

You still get liptons iced teas. The kids, mainly the girls, love it. The lemon and the peach. You get a carbonated and a still version.

You can get sachets to turn still or sparkling water into these drinks, you get them on amazon.

Had the final weigh in for the weight loss competition in my gym and I've won. Down 10.7KG (23.5lbs) in 8 weeks and won 6 months more at my gym, hell of a lot stronger now too. My membership ran out a few weeks ago so that came in the nick of time and saved me a few hundred quid!
