My good friend Danny has asked me to get involved on here as I've got involved in what seems like the most current trend in online poker. After giving up my SNE chase before it really got going this year due to the introduction of higher buy in Spin&Gos, I've decided to get involved in a new little project. Building a bankroll from a small invest via twitch.
Twitch is a site where originally gamers were streaming their gameplay whilst interacting with anyone who chose to watch via chat. More recently, some poker players have got involved. You can find my channel here: http://www.twitch.tv/easywithaces
I do have a blog which as recorded my progress so far, but from this point if anyway shows any interest I will continue to cross post the updates there and in here. You can read how I've got on so far here: https://easywithaces.wordpress.com
Some of you might recognise my screen name from a PG&C thread I did here last year, but I'm still going to put up some of the frequently asked questions with answers.
Are these your normal games your streaming? No I usually play 18 mans with a $45 abi. With the buy ins ranging generally from $30 to $200.
Do you play poker full time? Yes I've played full time for the past 3 years, coming into my 4th now.
Is this real money? Indeed.
Why do you live in Malta? Because Ireland is cold and Maltas climate is awesome <3
How many tables do you play? I only share 3 tables on screen but generally have around 16 whilst playing on the stream.
What is your end goal? Not entirely sure, I won't play 18 mans on screen for several reasons. So if I choose to go back to them in the coming weeks/months it'll be the end of the stream.
Why are you costing yourself money playing these games? Obviously playing my normal games nets me a lot more money. But I thought it'd be interesting to do a new little project and see how I can get on. How long I do it for remains to be seen.
I think that covers a decent portion of the questions I get asked very regularly. Feel free to ask anything else in here and I'll try my best to answer. I'm going to commit to the stream until at least the end of March then I'll decide how I feel about it and if it's worth keeping up for any longer.
The most fun day to tune in is definitely a Friday by the way. Trying to get a different guest on each week, whilst dressed in a 3 piece suit drinking beers. Last week we had our very own Jono Crute on the stream. Was really good fun and hope to have him on again.
That's all for now. Hopefully interests a few people. Good luck.
