    Declaring your hand

Player A bets on the river on a flush heavy board, 4 hearts, Player B asks 'Do you have the Ace of hearts?" Player A says 'Yes' Player B calls, A has nut flush and now B wants the hand declared dead as A disclosed it. Now apart from B being an absolute dick over this did Player A do anything wrong?? No, imo

Give Player B a penalty for a blatant attempted angleshoot imo.

Warning for A not to disclose his actual hand in future, and a bigger warning for B for angleshooting and unsporting conduct

            no rule violations here.
B asked a question and got an answer. gets a telling off for being a baby.

I think if Player A had just come out and said 'I have the nut flush' then he should be penalised. As he was asked the question, there should be no penalty. Player B needs to stop being a tart.

If its just the two players in the hand then speech play is allowed and it this case Players A's hand win the pot at showdown and no penalty for player B. In a multi-way pot there is no speech play but im not sure what penalty either of them would get from a TD.

would depend on the situation but anywhere from a warning through 1 round up to exclusion. Standard penalties.

Most Organisations allow speech play as part of the game when heads up. Players may say what they like so long as it's not abusive. This includes telling your opponent what your cards are. It's up to the other player to decide weather or not they want to believe him. There's a very big difference between telling your opponent your cards and showing your opponent your cards. Speech play is part of the game!

Player A did nothing wrong here and there's absolutely no rule broken so no reason for any penalty and certainly no reason for declaring his hand dead.
