This applies to all our tournaments across the board. The amount of money taken from the prize pool is clearly stated on our tournament screens. |

"Hi Jam-Fly, €200 goes straight into the prize pool and €5 goes into the Festival Mini league. The Mini League winner will receive a Trophy+ €500 in tournmants credits for any of our regular tournaments." You hardly expect that these guys that traveled to galway and spent money on hotels to come to yer casino and read on yer screen that 10% of the prizepool is being held even tho they were told different on boards. By the way, I think ye are actually running a good club with decent structures and great gurantee's. The issue is that you were asked and came back 3 times with "Yes folks, no reg" knowing full well that their is.... |

How were people who had never played in your place before supposed to know this, especially when you stated the opposite in this thread?

In fairness its prob not stated as correctly as it should be but i bought in fully understanding the 10% after they reached 20k would be withheld but im a local so i can see the argument
however it was a well structured and well run game its never going to be free and i think we should encourage the organisers to run more games like this but maybe they should clarify the 10% etc beforehand but to be fair they put a 20k guarantee out there when i see rival casinos with no guarantee they just wanted promote there game.. anyways ill be going back there...id just urge casino managers to clarify better there reg fee etc... |

We at Caesar's feel it is necessary to clear up this issue regarding the percentage of Prizepool being taken by the house.
First of all we apologise sincerely for the confusion we generated by a few hurried responses we made earlier in this thread. We really should have made everything much clearer. We apologise to IrishPokerBoards for not filling out all the proper information, and we apologise to everyone who read our thread on IPB for not letting people know the correct Fee's that were to be taken from the prizepool. Secondly we also insist this was by no means a intentional misrepresentation to try get more players or anything of the sort, and we by no means intended to decieve or delude people into thinking this was some sort of registration fee/rake free event. It must be known that ALL of our tournaments remove 10% of the total prizepool as a fee, However Every tournament we run has a guarantee which must be met as a bare minimum for the prizepool. In our 14 months on the poker map in Galway we have ran over 400 Guaranteed tournaments, every one being honored regardless of entrants. If the prizepool goes over the guarantee on the night, we remove 10% from the prizepool as a house fee. The 10% Reg from our prizepool's is common knowledge for our local members, however as 'NewApproach' correctly pointed out: "How were people who had never played in your place before supposed to know this, especially when you stated the opposite in this thread?" Again we apologise for creating this issue. We hurriedly arranged this information slot on the Event's page and didnt give the proper attention to answer all your questions accurately. "Think ye need a better excuse than that guys.Theres guys that read boards in dublin, limrick ,cork etc etc.... you clearly state "Hi Jam-Fly, €200 goes straight into the prize pool and €5 goes into the Festival Mini league." GalwayGiant again we sincerely apologise for this and you are 100% right to demand some closure on this. We must stress that it was a genuine miscommunication. We understand how our advertisement could be interpreted for peopled who have travelled to play this tournament based on what they have read on this particular thread. As we said earlier in the thread all our prizepool's and what we pay out is always displayed clearly on our tournament screens and we have complete transparency with all our cash game and tournament rake's and fees. We do not have traditonal e.g 50+5 Reg/ 100+10 Reg fee, instead we take a % of the prizepool once we go over our guarantee and this has led to this miscommunication. Our sincerest apologies for this to everyone on IPB's and we will make sure something like this never happens again. Overall we are very happy with how our festival played out, with big name's and amateur's alike coming from all over the country to participate. Our thanks to all participants and we hope you enjoyed your time in Caesar's. We hope this mishap didn't put too much of a dampener on thing's for those unfamiliar with Caesar's, we will endeavour to follow the charter clearly in future and we hope to see you all again soon. Your Sincerely- CaeasarsPalace |

Does this ^^^^^^ mean that you will be returning the €2400 to the prizepool to be distributed among the players that cashed .
Players that were not aware of any stopages before they decided to play taking the info given in the charter into consideration . |

I presume you take the fee once you reach the guarantee + 10% otherwise for a 20k gtee game once you reach it and take 10% the prizepool is now 18k.
