        Hi Carlinrose,

If you qualify 15 players to the Irish Open Main Event through live satellites, leagues, last man standing ect you will receive a 16th Main Event seat for free.

In order to participate in th incentive scheme clubs must first contact us with a schedule of live sats, league ect. They must actively promote these sats, league ect here on IPB and through social media outlets Facebook twitter ect and we will also help promote the events through your social media outlets and website.

Someone rocking up on the day of the event with 15 names and ball of cash won't qualify for a free seat.

What exactly does this have to do with anything then ?

          5 Players: 5 x €50 = €250 (Equivalent to Mini Main Entry)

            Hi Oyforsam,

            Welcome to IPB.

The min amount of qualified players to qualify for the incentive scheme is 5 players.

Any club/poker operator who qualify 5+ main event players will receive €50 in tournament token per qualified player which gets bumped up to a full free seat at 15 players.

            I.e Qualify..

            5 players = 5 x €50 Tournament tokens for €250
            10 players = 10 x €50 tournament tokens for €500
            15 players = 1 x €1,150 Main Event seat for 16th player
            20 players = 1 x €1,150 Main Event seat for 16th player plus 5 x €50 Tournament tokens for €250

Why is there no mention of the percentage been withheld from the prizepool "for the dealers" in the OP, are you trying to hide it?, also if you register for any event online through www.irishpokeropen.com you are charged €8.99 for the pleasure and €1.50 for an SMS confirmation, seriously?, is this what represents a reasonable fee and value for money?.

                Hi Jules,

The % is mentioned in both bold and red at the bottom of post 1 on our thread in the festival section which has the full schedule http://www.irishpokerboards.com/foru...ad.php?t=22705

It's the exact same as last year.

The charge of €8.99 is a charge applied by billetto for players wishing to buy tickets through them. This fee is cover the charges they incur by the credit card companies and their admin costs.

At City West Hotel if a players wanted to take €1,000 on their credit card they would be charged €30 for this as this is a cost which is incurred by us.

We used there service last year and they were very professional. Very similar to ticket master. It was mostly overseas players who used their's services as they didn't want to travel with lots of cash.

I hope this clears things up.

                  Good luck JP.

Is there a list of participating clubs? Don't worry if you can't compile it yet.

                    Hi P&F,

We sent advertising material out last week and will be ringing around all the clubs this week to see which clubs are interested in running satellites/leagues ect.

Fair enough JP, thanks for your reply.

I have to say though the potential "hidden" charges do seem excessive to me, but I understand it's the punters choice whether or not to accept them.

Best of luck with the event, you always run an excellent operation.
