I shipped today RD but the market for not going ahead is shortening by the hour after the latest news on the outbreak in the UK. Was around 11/8 on Sunday, went out to near 5/1 after the govt announcement on Monday that everything was fine. Trading at 12/5 now with 2.68m matched.
Less than 2k matched on Aintree but odds on not to go ahead at the minute.
If there's another spike in confirmed cases tomorrow Boris's hand might be forced.

Yeah, we'll just wait and see. If called off, I assume everyone is cool for me to stick the lot on some nag of my choosing at Dundalk."We are not Europeans. Those people on the continent are freaks."

Cheltenham Preview
Sitch: Dual winner of the Rlue-ribband, yet to show sparkle this campaign and flopped last year in this finishing a stone last. Nothing untoward showed up after that effort but arrives fresh and connections are bullish.
El Shambola: Returning from a break when registering a surprise victory in a Grade 2 last time. More to find in deeper company and suspicions he prefers to go right handed and ground is questionable.
GAB: Rather disappointing in this race after a crack novice season. Debuting for new connections once again when finishing an encouraging 3rd here at the November meeting. Strangely hasn't been sighted since has but had his wind tweaked recently and vibes are good from a yard in form, but comes with risks.
Strewel: Has been kept relatively sound during a light campaign this term but hasn't yet showed us anything to get particularly excited about. However connections have persevered with him and goes well fresh.
Switcheroo: Little known about this Pat Kelly charge from the Wheeesssst but we have witnessed shades of encouragement albeit against questionable opposition on top of the ground and encounters soft for the first time.
Dice: Stalwart of the game however more letters than figures to his form recently. Showed up well for a time in this last term before coming to grief and seems to reserve his best for the big occasion. Ground not a worry but tends to hit flat spots and others make more appeal.
RDIII: Lacked the necessary aptitude at Doncaster last month (3m, good-to-soft) unruly at the start then jumped alarmingly to his right throughout. Not quite a forlorn hope and market support would be notable on his first start since wind surgery.
Murdrum: Victorious over an extended 2m7f in November and ran well when a never nearer third in a Grade 1 at last time subsequently. Struggled upped to 3m2f at Kempton last month so questions if he stays and is probably best watched.
Charlie Sheen: Has reserved his best form for summer ground at Killarney and Galway and he looked out of sorts at Navan last time out. Will have to improve dramatically on that showing to figure here. First time headgear.
Pat Custard: 4th in this last year and having a busy season so far without getting his head in front, was rather unlucky the last twice and noticeable jockey booking is interesting. Each way claims.
Nicnic: Evergreen former winner from the Gaelic territory of the Déise. Weakened in the closing stages of the King George which tempers enthusiasm somewhat but had excuses and it would no surprise to see him in the mix for a stable that knows how to ready one.
No River Required: Strong 3rd place showing in this last year and carried that form forward this term before coming unstuck last time with some sketchy leaps and hanging in the closing stages. If the trainer has these quirks ironed out has every chance of showing up well.
Hitch: French export whos a late comer to the game, last year endured a torrid passage and was found to scope dirty afterwards. Hard to make a cogent case for victory even drawing a line through that effort and wears first time headgear in a bid to eek out some improvement.
Norweigan Blue: Made the frame in a 3m1f soft-ground Chase here in November but pair of wide-margin defeats at big prices since and is seemingly facing another thankless task now.
Shrapnell: Not since The Fellow has a French trained won this race and with well documented leg injuries it would be something of a surprise if he could be the first to emulate that winner. Nevertheless despite surrender monkeying in his seasonal bow fitness wasnt an issue in the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris. Interesting runner and has a chance here if his legs can stand up to the attrition on softening ground.
Shanboghted: Only second start for this yard and not seen out for best part of 16 months after finishing Third at Chepstow; handles most ground and trip fine, but after such an absence, is best watched unless there's market support. Others preferred.
rounders123: Last years winner who made every yard, cant quibble with this seasons form, clouts the odd one and wont be able to get away with many errors and wouldnt want the ground getting much softer. Evry chance to follow up if last years exertions haven't left their mark.
Solksjaer: Never the same since Ronnie Drew died. Never really looked happy at Donohues on reappearance and but much better effort next time out. Needs tender handling so jockey booking is eye-catching.
Arazi: Generally been consistent but questions persist after Towcester gamble went awry which needs forgiving. Superstitious and occasionally fractious so it will be encouraging if he handles the preliminaries. Goes on most ground.
Silver Tiger: Has enough form at the track to make him worth a second look, but isn't the best of jumpers and plugged on only at one pace for a distant second at Clonmel last time.
Eoghan104: Has excuses but suspicions are he doesn't get on well at Cheltenham which is in contrast with his stellar Aintree form. Can get quite excitable when taken on so if these issues are ironed out he could enter calculations.
Alocon: Refused to start at Fairyhouse in January but second since at Navan, likely to give solid account assuming jumping holds up and temperament issues have been addressed.
LPlate: Quite a doughty stayer around the 5 lakes, former pony and trap wars winner. Gave it a good crack last year in this when finishing an encouraging 5th. Looked like he might get his head in front at Leopardstown last time out until saddle slipped on the run to the last(dodgy Killarney tourist pony tack used) after looking the winner. More required here to get his head in front.
Jibzzz: Progressive chaser, posted a career-best when scoring for the second time over fences Sandown, These are a much deeper waters but leading contender if stamina holds out.

The table talk
So, as we should all know, I need you guys to post your daily picks as a TABLE.
Here's how:
Step 1: identify the winners of every race you're going to bet in (this is the easy bit).
Laugh to yourself thinking of the loots you will win and imagine the various goods and services you will purchase with your stack of freshly-minted fiddies.
Make sure when making these awesome selections that you adhere to Rules 3
(yes there are two Rule 3s, no I don't know why, now fuck off and refer to Rule 6)
Let's say we're going to back:
Race 1 - Dog Food Delight 100 Win
Race 2 - Never Started - 50 Each Way
Race 5 - Three Legged Tortoise - 50 Win
Race 5 - Donkey Derby - 50 Win
Race 7 - Reverse Gear - 25 Each Way
Step 2: open your favourite Spreadsheet application and create a list with 4 columns like the below:
Column A = Race number. Enter in the format 'R1', R2' etc
Column B = Horse Name. Spell it right, as per the official racecard you dyslexic scum.
Column C = stake
Column D = type of bet. Either W (win) or EW (each way). These are the only two allowable values in this data domain.
Save this spreadsheet so you can re-use it on subsequent days on your inevitable charge to glory.
Step 3: post your selection as a table in this thread:
simply copy your selections from Excel and paste into this thread. Then wrap [TABLE] tags around it like so.
Step 4: Submit your post and admire your handiwork as below
Step 5: ????Profit
If you fuck up this extremely simple task, I reserve the right to be a prick. See Rule 6."We are not Europeans. Those people on the continent are freaks."
