    11$ 6k Final Table Pocket 7's

Made the final table of this 11$ 6K guarantee during the week. 1.2k FTW.

Was playing fairly solid, was chippy in the tourni with 60 odd left and remained there or therabouts until FT from memory. Was interested if I played this correctly to be honest. In hindsight I think I change my pf action and flop actions.

    All feedback appreciated.

you got any stats on him? pre is fine, ask yourself why are you raising the turn ? for value ? what are you trying to get value from ? we fold out what we beat and he continues with what were behind to.

Stats are detailed in the OP. Was just wondering does anyone ever play it different?

I think you played it perfectly. You got a cheap showdown with a marginal holding. I assume he hit the Ace which now has you 2nd guessing yourself?

Like Chips1234 said, if you raise turn then you're definitely behind and if he blanks river he barrels again and we scoop a nice pot.

            Hand is fine imo.

Well you right in that he hit the Ace.. AK. Was just thinking some people might 3 bet pre and play it a bit differently.

Why 3 bet pre? Are you calling a 4 bet or a shove? Are you 5 betting/shoving if he re-pops the 3 bet? Do you really want to gamble for your tourney here against the chippy with 77?

At this stage of a tourney, I play it the exact same way. He went the aggressive route and got there, unlucky and on to the next one.

Don't start second guessing yourself, hand is fine.
