2018 IPB Golf Classic (Establishing Interest)

Just throwing it out there to see if we can get numbers/consensus for an IPB Golf Outing. Somewhere accessible in terms of Cost, Playability and within a reasonable driving distance of Dublin.

So reply with answers to the following

> Can you tee off 3pm Onwards Midweek i.e. Weds/Thurs/Fri. (Yes/No)
> If it's not Saturday morning then it's not happening for you? (Yes/No)

You don't need to be a member of a club, you don't need a GUI, all levels are welcome so long as you have the required gear to get around. Surely we can get 12 from here for a jolly.

Ah I miss playing a lot, just not feasible for me in Dublin. Clubs sitting in Sligo for a decade. Must change that some day and call along if this gets going.

I can play. Recommend Mount Wolsey so Dubs and culchies like nicnicnic can travel.
Please inform of any and all side bets before 19th hole

I would go for Midweek depending on location.

Member of Castleknock, could organise a deal of sorts there if people want.

Interested depending on location.

Weekend would suit better and within an hour of Dublin preferably. Could duck out of work early midweek if it was somewhere like Castleknock as said above.

I'm striping it at the moment so would expect to scoop

Thinking of getting back into golf, im in. Druids Glen anyone.. That Mount Wolsley has too many trees to get behind.
Midweek in Mount Juliet might be reasonable value and should be quick from dublin, and is wide and open for a fab course.

Haven't hit a ball in over two years but would fancy this.

Midweek works best for me.

Stableford yeah? May have a very itchy scorecard.

I would suggest that whoever is organising collects money before the day through bank transfer to pay for green fees. It'll stop people not turning up on the day
