    Declaring action.

When dealing high stakes poker games, I often wonder what my actions should be in relation to counting a bet or raise and indicating to the table about it.

I always declare that there is a raise, but I never touch the chips until asked for a count.

Also, I never touch a bet until asked for a count. I say bet or raise, so everyone at the table knows there is action, but never say the total or touch the chips. Some players think I'm being lazy or that I should let the table know whats happening more precisely.

What do you do, or think dealers should do, and why?

P.S. Where is Solskjear? Did he change his name?

I was always under the impression that for no limit hold'em the dealer should never count a bet out unless asked to by the acting player, i see dealers do it alot though but they don't have to. For pot limit it should always be counted out so the player can work out the size of the pot.
They will be like WTF how does he always have the top of his range, and they will be saying that when you show up with like nine's - Jimmy Fricke
Nine's are the top of my range - Shaun Deeb
