Playing the tournie in the SE last night and had these situations one ive seen a few times and one ive not.
First one:
The game is a double chance (get the other half of your chips anytime after the first hand up until the break) we are still in the early parts of the tournament and I havent taken my other half of my chips yet.
Folded around to the button who raises and I ship from the SB back to the button and they start asking me a few questions, the main one being "have you had your 2nd chips yet?" I very rarely ever talk during hands dont wanna give up any info so I stay quiet and say nothing the player asks the question again but this time asks the TD "does he have to tell me if hes had his 2nd stack yet?" I get were the player is coming from think I might be shipping light looking to gamble if I still have another stack and if I have had it I might be tightening up my range.
TD gives his voice on it, what you people reckon? I know I dont have to give up any information and its up to the player to keep track of the game.
Second one:
I see this one occasionally when a player takes a beat or is just after getting crippled they just shove their chips in the middle out of turn.
Example last night I beat a guy with 99 vs 88 and he is left with a few chips but he is close to the button and just pushes and leaves his stack out there and the dealer dealt his hand they effectively betting out of turn.
Obviously they are affecting the action of the other players that are to act in front of him so the hand plays out he gets called out of the blinds and loses the hand before the TD could make the decision on it he said he was gonna give him a warning not to do it again.
But what if the action changes before it gets to the blind all in?
It really bugs me when people do it if you are gonna shove blind just wait till it gets to you instead of this bad etiquette.
