Hi Mick
Its unfortunate alright, but there's so much going on in the poker scene in Ireland now, its almost impossible to avoid a clash. We picked this weekend way back and because some players have already booked flights from abroad though our betkings partner, its impossible to change it.

At the time we picked the date for it (back in June at a meeting in Vienna,) I checked around and didn't see anything advertised for that weekend. The Winamax will be hugely successful I'm sure. Hopefully we get enough in to make our event a success as well. I'll have to put more research in for next time.

We do have a day 1 though a week before the event on Saturday Sept 21st at 5pm and if a player gets through that, then he's not back for day 2 until Sunday Sept 29th. Its an option some people here are going to take to give themselves an option.

Good luck regardless!!

Connie
