I'm not a fan of Kassouf's antics, and think he way overdoes it, but the mob mentality of the table against him was disgusting imo. He was bang on with most of the stuff he said to the various TD's. The muppet saying 'One player to a hand'. Seriously, how does he get the WSOP Main Event gig? TD's were way out of line and didn't really have a clue what was going on, or how to control it.

He had the table on tilt and played it to his advantage and most of the table showed their lack of class (Kassouf at times too) but I can feel for the guy too.

I listening to Kassouf on Negreanu's podcast a couple of weeks ago, and it's quite decent and he explains that it boils over even more.

I don't think it was the speech play that was the problem this week, it was the slowness of his play. Either way, if you can't take his 'tactics', what does that say about you as a poker player? There are plenty of people just as bad or worse, it's something any pro has to deal with.

Really looking forward to the famed Kassouf v Benger hand next week.

To my eyes, Josephy came across as a much bigger prick than Kassouf. Turnung to Moss after the 33 hand and " I felt I had to speak up for you". What a load of bollox.

To be fair to Josephy I think the constant delay of play (which was obviously edited out), got to him and he was beginning to lose it, which was understandable but unfortunately was Kassoufs aim and played into his hands, I don't think Josephy came across as a bigger prick than Kassouf when as all he did was react to the constant time wasting by Kassouf even when there was no action before him, he would take 2+ mins to take action when it was his turn, the TD's were poor and didn't read the situation well at all, in particular the TD that said "one player to hand", I mean what a load of bollix, if you were in that situation and it was becoming clear the TDs were not taking the appropriate action, I can only imagine the frustration the table were beginning to experience.
Players like Kassouff should be more closely monitored by TD's and TD's should pay more attention to the concerns expressed by the players at the table with the problem player, instead of in this case just giving it lip service and not addressing the real issue.

Yeah I dunno, I think we'd all accept stalling as part of the game both online and live especially in satellites, but Kassouffs seems to be stalling solely to tilt people, that of course is his prerogative but is it necessary?.
I think we'd all agree it's an element of the game we'd like to see eliminated, obviously it's easy to tackle online with timebanks etc, but live is more difficult to tackle, and in a made for TV tournament like the WSOP ME, it amounts to shite viewing and won't attract new players to the game and the situation is exacerbated by the inaction of the TD's.

I think Kassouff was mildly tilted and tired by the time the large hand came around with G. Benger, not that it would have had too much bearing in the end.

Many of the other players, such as Vayo, and Bax showed a large lack of class, after Kassouff, the ESPN pantomine villan had exited stage left.

That was the opportunity for people to draw a line under it, take control of the table dynamic, or seed a lighter dynamic, and let themselves shine on camera. Opportunity missed.

The nine need more coaching in how to play on camera, but will likely have invested in professional coaches refining push/fold ranges, live tells ...

Yeah, Kassouf did mention that somebody said something about "go back to England" and/or a Brexit reference but he didn't say that Benger said it so I guess we will probably never know whether he did or not.
I would have my doubts that it was Benger though because they both shook hands after the hand. Maybe it was one of the other players or one of the railbirds.

Allegedly these are the times taken for all the hands played on Day 6 and 7, not only televised hands. You can see how it would have gotten under people's skins if he's taking over 30 seconds to make a move preflop, even folding. I'm not sure i've ever taken 30 seconds to play a hand pre flop in my life!

Easy to say ahh yeah Kassouf is good for the game/character etc, but stalling absolutely isn't and I think that is where most people have a beef and imagine having a guy at your table with the same verbal spew every hand on Day 7 after 12 hours a day and can see why they were all ready to murder him. Still classless.

My first time watching any poker in a couple of years (certainly a year). Same auld shit there always was. Lads thinking they are the best thing around because they have some play in them and got lucky. Its gone all Hollywood with no characters anymore. Couldn't give a fuck who wins it to be honest, certainly won't rail it.

As for that Asian lad with the hat, he had the nuts with the AK flush hand and still waited for the other lad to show his hand. Cnut.

...Actually quite looking forward to this tonight...In a way i'm happy that Kassouf didn't make November 9, because I think watching him live for 7/8 hours would be too much pain, not the speech play shite but the constant tanking... That stat Flushdraw posted about 30 seconds average pre flop time is a fucking joke!!!...I'd say it would be about 10 seconds max for me and most amateurs...
...But in saying that, it looks like it could be a really dull affair with not much table talk or entertainment to cover the shite hands we see...

...More importantly, what links will people be using to watch it and what time do I set my alarm?...
