Whatever you feel about Bray itself, the Star Poker place is quite nice imo. Have played a couple of low buy-in reasonably structured tournaments there in the last few months and my impression is that the poker room is clean, well run, good atmosphere etc...

Glad to see them 'moving up' to hosting these type of events. GL

It is the nicest card room I have ever been to.

Hopefully it is a success and drags Bray out of the 3rd world.

Wtf? Easily the nicest card room I play in, bray is actually a lovely town, foreigners will love it. The only problem is lack of capacity for a really big field.

In fairness i dont think the seafront in Bray is a kip, probably the nicest part of Bray and the card room is excellent. Didnt realise location was a big factor in where people play poker?! fairplay to stephen and the lads in Star as its about time the card room started getting bigger events like this into it. Should do very well

Was out there once & have to say its a very nice poker room. Be interested to see what they do to the place to up capacity. David that runs the poker knows what he's at.

It must be noted that CHD hails from a small neighborhood in Bray called Kilcoole.

He is barred from most of the decent boozers so has a little bit of resentment towards his landlords.

This is Kilcoole's most successful business:
Spoiler

This is Bray:
Spoiler

He also can't afford the buy in so wont be playing.

Fair play to Stephen & Dave for bringing this event to the metropolis of Bray!
Great to see the Star hosting this event, well deserved as it's one of the best card rooms around to play in.
