Hi JP is the structure for tonight's opening game similar to your Thursday game or is it the same as the opener last year? Cheers Paul

Hi JP,

Is this the same structure for the €250 6 max on Saturday? Would love to see some levels added in later on.

remove 25-50 and add 250-500, 5000-1000, 2500-5000 5000-10000 if possible please. Tournament won't last much longer and structure would be way better.

I didn't mean to start a big discussion over this but in fairness when compared to the €135 + €15 6 max at the Mini WSOP with a 15k starting stack (20 minute levels to be fair), I counted 75/150, 500/1000, 1200/2400 all missing this time round for a bigger buy-in.

Hi Guys,

Sorry for the lack of posting over the last few days.

We normally get a full 5 days set-up for the Norwegian Champs but with St Patrick's Day been Tuesday just gone City West had 500+ tour group in the City West Suite (aka poker room) so it's been a bit of a scrabble to getting ready in time in 2 days resulting in me been in meetings all day today.

Regarding the structures...
These have been discussed on Donkr.com (Norwegian, Irish Poker Boards), The fields for most events will be made up with 85%+ of Norwegians and this is want they want.

As the week gets busier and we start to get 200-400 players for the side events it will be almost impossible to finished some of the side event in one day if we were to make change to structures.

We used to play better structures down the Kestrel on a Tuesday night. Do the Norwegians have to deal with the same structures in there side events?

If you don't like them don't play them. Simple. JP is busy enough without dealing with all this moaning.

No extra chips for brown-nosing pal lets call a spade a spade here and have a look at the structure for the 250 - 350 buy ins and ask were 10 or so levels went missing. Any one can see how insanely bad them structures are just no-one speaks so it happens imo + people like you help out brown-nosing that are prob not even attending so well done. As for the rest of with the plan of investing thousands of euro's into these games's were the one's paying the price in cash as you sit there and be the guardian of the miss advertised structures (maybe bit harsh) but no info to let me know they were essentially all turbos till yesterday (day1 of the festival) after the question was asked. I wrongly assumed they would be average at least structures when calling itself a NLH 8max - 6 max (no mention of turbo or level jumps) esp with 10k stack in some etc.. I'm not getting into a debate about it but these structure's are way worse then any 1day casino daily game. Anyone who puts up the money needed for these things on a weekly basis understands what I mean. It's not cheap come the end of the year so yes we do expect a semi-decent structure in our non-turbo higher buy in events Nic I'm sorry if it's too much to ask for.

I get where you're coming from Paul and personally I'd love to see better structures but this is essentially like going to a foreign country to play. 85% of the players are Norwegian and if they voted on the structure then that's just it.
Just as a suggestion though, perhaps instead of adding additional levels, they could be slightly restructured, maybe remove 25-50 and add 500-1000 or 2500-5000 as suggested. Tad bit more play later on.

Yea I suppose your right if we think about it like that.. First year rolled to play this so prob held expectations a bit high after hearing all the tales of big results at previous festivals. Disappointing doe because if I had of know I wouldn't of sold action to all these and played cash for the week.
